Delta Team HQ U7-E, 3 miles from New York City

Awaiting Orders

"Overlord, this is Delta HQ, bomb squad. Our team is ready to be deployed along with the others." Said the squad leader at the table said to the radio.

 

In a scruffy voice, the radio replied, "Delta Team, we've got a big task for you. Russians are beginning to fall back from the streets, but their not keeping their flanks open."

 

The other three guys in the room were getting their gear set up. Notably, on each of their vests was a purple star, followed by a few little white ones. Their squad leader was standing at a table with a radio in hand, working hard at coordinating plans with their commander.

 

The radio continued, "The enemy's been hacking into our radios lately. So for this operation, you'll be using your code names."

 

The squad leader replied, with a small laugh, "Copy that Princess Celestia. This is Twilight Sparkle, what's our mission?"

 

"Your job is to provide support for our guys breaching the building, then secure their explosives link up. If we don't.. boom goes all our tanks going down Main Street. You'll have 10 minutes to secure the objective and extract it back to HQ. Be ready for shipping in four minutes."

 

"Ohh.. Shits about to get magical in this city." Said one of the guys in the room, trotting around in heavy armor with his M249 light machine gun.

 

The squad leader replied, "Copy that, we're ready."

 

"Tuning into all squad frequencies. All squads, check in." commanded Celestia.

 

"Pinkie Pie, breach team, ready to party."

 

"Twilight Sparkle, bomb squad, ready to support."

 

"Applejack, extraction team, set for pickup."

 

"Rarity, sniper support, in position."

 

"Fluttershy, air..um.. recon.. in the skies."

 

"Rainbow Dash, air support, standing by!"

 

Celestia replied, "Operation Friendship is a go. Let's do this."
