I wrote this piece, I don't even remember exactly when. I was in high school at the time, and I needed an outlet to talk about someone that I liked at the time. This is one the things that I wrote to express how I was feeling.  It's corny, but I have a nostalgic fondness for it. I'm not really looking for any criticism

as I'm not likely going to change anything. Just felt like sharing..

 

 

There stands a girl
She likes you
But fears your reaction
Her heart is broken
With several doubts

Attempts to hide it
despite its already known
She thinks of you daily
could you think she was crazy?

She wears glasses, slightly crooked
her teeth which show bright and true
are straight from braces

she likes anime, and pokemon

what would you say
if this girl you see
Standing before you
was me?
