gaming What's the longest time you've spent on a video game?

I was just wondering, what's the largest amount of time you've spent on a single video game? Or do you at least have an estimate? The most I know of is a few hours over 100 hours for skyrim and tf2 although I have left each of those games running by themselves to get stuff but you know.What about you?

I have easily around 800-1K hours spent on Oblivion, which is quite a lot for this game

 

I've spent around 500 hours on World of Warcraft and that number is still getting higher

 

I've spent around 400 hours on Counter Strike, which I don't really play anymore

 

Probably around 300 hours on Skyrim

 

Around 300 hours on League of Legends

 

And also 180 hours on Dota 2, which I have taken a break from

 

And maybe around 150 hours on Age of Empires 2? Maybe more, maybe less

 

 

EDIT: That's around 2650-2830 hours of gameplay. I'm so winning this

 

According to Google, that is 109-117 days of gameplay

Tf2 for probably 200 hours. I'm a hardcore gamer! If they had an MLP FIM game, I would replay it several times! But that probably won't happen...

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions and Dragon Quest VIII both took me 80 hours to beat.  Then there's Persona 3 which I've spent over 300 hours on across multiple playthroughs.  Then there's the shorter games I played over and over when I was little like Spyro and Spider-Man ps1 and Silent Hill, who knows how many hours I put into those.

I've spent over 600 hours on one server in a game, and over 1000 on the other. So yea, over 1600 hours spent.

 

Even that; I only just finished it yesterday, as far as the main storyline goes.

 

Basically there's about 500 quests which each take from 5 minutes to 3 days to finish.

 

Oh. And it's a horse game. (Horse Isle 2 Legend of the Esrohs)

The most I played out of a video game, and is still going strong, is battlefield 3. I currently have 700+ hours of online gameplay time, and premium for it. Offline, I would add about 50 more hours. It may look sad, but I gained a lot of it when I didn't have a job and had quite a bit of spare time

For TF2 I've played around 203 hours. I also probably put a huge load of time into most of console games like Zelda OoT, Halo 4, Castlevania, ect.

I literally played Oblivion over one thousand hours because there was a time in my life when I'd play it a few hours a day and that lasted a period of about three years.

I haven't dared try to count the amount of hours but if I had to take my guess, Star Wars the Old Republic. 8 characters with their own unique stories and the ability to play as either darkside, lightside or neutral and all sorts of flashpoints, heroic missions and raids there are quite a few things to do in that game.

Easy Answer,

 

If you guys have ever heard of NavyField, iv'e been playing that for 5 years... so if you were gonna take hours, it would be a rediculous number.

 

NavyField is a great game and I have been on it since i was 11 years old.

But another game iv'e spent months on would either have been Final Fantasy 10 or NFS Most Wanted, and I used to play the original Starcraft alot

Hmm lets see here the most i have ever spent playing a video game.

Battlefield 3-750 hours

Persona 4- 450 hours

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance- 425 hours

Skyrim- 600 hours

Fallout New Vegas- 500 hours

Final Fantasy 10- 300 hours (i had the international version)

Final Fantasy 12- 350 hours

This is alot of game time and i try to play when ever i get the chance.

In Fallout 3 I have a combined 667 hours.

 

In Oblivion I have a combined 593 hours.

 

Halo 3 I have 500+ in multiplayer and around 100 in campaign.

 

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door has claimed a couple hundred hours as well.

 

Final Fantasy 7 has at least 6 playthroughs of about 75-150 hours each.

 

I might not have as high numbers as you, but combined it's alot more than any human should spend gaming.

When I was a litte younger, I had an assload of Pokémon games. I think there was about six...(Ruby,Sapphire,Emerald,Diamond,Pearl,Platinum,White,White2)

Well, maybe there is 8. But the last two I don't really play. Each game had about 100 hours on it, leading up to a grand total of 6,000 hours spent playing Pokemon, plus the 50 or so I have on my White and White 2. That's 6,050 hours, or 252 days.

On average, each match lasts about 35 minutes.

 

2500 x 35 / 60 = 1458 hours approx.
