What is a typical day in your life?

Well during the summer I was mostly just working full time.

That consisted of getting up everyday at 6am and working till 5pm. I got saturdays and sundays off although I had to work some saturdays. But my temporary job ended in late August and I am without work now....

So I have been applying for jobs here and there hoping to hear something back soon. Browse the forums and occasionally hangout at my  friends house. Skateboard here and there when the weathers nice. Also will be registering for college classes for winter semester soon.

>wake up.

>hit the snooze button on my alarm.

>get up 20 minutes after the time I set my alarm for.

>eat some cereal.

>throw on some clothes, usually a hoodie, a pair of boot cut jeans, boots and a cute belt.

>go into the bathroom and my sister tells me that I look country from the waist down and a hobo from the waist up like she does daily.

>pull my hair up into a ponytail.

>wash my face and brush my teeth.

>slap on some make-up. Always some tinted moisturizer, foundation, powder, maybe concealer if I have purple bags under my eyes, mascara, and groom my brows.

>walk into my room, put some lotion and perfume on and grab a random Chapstick from my pony cup that's by my tv.

>get my binder and backpack. Throw on my pony lanyard with my school ID attached to it.

>sit on the couch for about 30 minutes.

>walk to my bus stop.

>wait for said bus. And then sit in my assigned seat and blast music while I stare out the window so I never have to look at the idiots on my bus.

>go to class once I get to school.

>go to my next class.

>go to lunch.

>go to my next class.

>leave school cause I have early release.

>go home.

>sit around and do nothing until I have to shower and go to bed.

Basically my entire day. Every single day. Except on the weekends. Which I still do nothing.

A typical day for me is browsing the interwebz, writing, playing Pokemon, talking to friends... rinse and repeat as needed. I usually have a strict routine to follow when I'm at home due to being autistic, but I have some flexibility at times. It really just depends on a lot of different factors.

A typical day for me is pretty much average stuff, like getting ready for work, commuting, etc. However, the real fun starts when I have free time, which is usually in the evenings and on weekends. I have lots of hobbies. lol

As of right now, it looks something like this:

  • Wake up
  • Watch TV for about an hour or two
  • Eat breakfast and help my Dad feed his dogs
  • Watch TV for another hour or two while my Dad sits on his a** while complaining about getting nothing done
  • Work on stuff
  • Eat Lunch (Skipped occasionally if my anxiety problems prevent me from eating)
  • Work on stuff some more
  • Watch TV for another couple of hours, because my Dad won't leave me alone long enough to concentrate
  • Help my Dad feed his pigs
  • Eat Dinner
  • Watch a movie
  • Have a mini-anxiety attack over it being dark and over the crack in the window
  • Try to go to sleep, and finally do so after half an hour of sitting awake

My daily routine isn't very consistent from one day to the next. It varies a lot. But it kinda follows a general template of waking up in the evening, eating whatever my cousin makes or brings home at that time of day. Then I shower, dress and go to work a part time job or, on my days off, go to practice or perform in community theater. When I get home, which is often late, I either watch a movie with my cousin or go out and look for something out of the ordinary like exploring abandoned or off-limits places, viewing my surroundings from the rooftops or daring myself to do something I wouldn't normally do. It isn't often exciting, but at least it's different every time.

I wake up to the tones of Pinkie’s Smile Song as my alarm.

I shower and get dressed.

Nom down two chocolate Poptarts and a Diet Coke.

Brush my teeth and hair (I don’t often apply makeup until I get to work).

Check my purse for essentials, leave my apartment and drive to an employee parking area at my job.

Take a shuttle from my car to my prep/staging area where I change into my costume and apply makeup. From here I get 15 minutes to walk to my appointed location with an assistant.

I meet the public throughout the day, with several breaks along the way.

I finish up in the evening and reverse the aforementioned steps.

Sometimes I grab some dinner from the drive-thru at McDonald’s on the way home, or groceries if I’m not too tired.

At home I change into something very casual and enjoy dinner with a dvd or catch up with my roommate for a while.

If I have any energy I do a short cardio workout at the gym.

I come back and work on a creative project before taking a short nap.

Late at night I sometimes drop in on the MLP Forums for a bit.

Then go to bed again till morning, when it all repeats for the next day.

Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up I noticed I was late

Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
And somebody spoke and I went into a dream -

aaaaaaaaaahhhhaahahhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm in a transitory time right now... I'll list what it has been for the last couple of years which was happy for me, and then what it is now.

Last two years:

  • 6:30 am to 8:30 am (usually right in the middle at 7 am) - Wake up
    • Take my dog outside
    • Shower
    • Feed my dog breakfast and eat my own breakfast
  • 10:00 am - Go to first class (sometimes this was later, but on average this was the time)
  • 12:00 pm - Take my dog out again, and then eat lunch
  • 5:00 pm (or thirty minutes later on Wind Ensemble days) - Take my dog out
  • 6:00 pm - Feed my dog dinner, and eat my dinner
  • 8:40 pm - 9:00 pm - Let my dog out one more time for the day
  • 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm - Go to bed, read Tumblr/Twitter before going to bed.

But now, with another weird work schedule (not as bad as the overnight one I had years back, but..)

  • 3:00 am - Begrudgingly get up at this hour and jump in the shower
    • Try to drink a can of my sparkling water and snack if time allows (it doesn't)
    • Let my dog out if I went to bed early the evening before (meaning she didn't get to go out that last time)
  • 4:00 am - Go to work
  • 9:00 am - Lunch (Work lunch, anyway, I eat breakfast then)
  • 1:00 pm - Come home. Eat lunch. Take my dog out.
  • 2:00 pm - Nap, if possible.
  • General Afternoon - Get my French homework done
  • 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Go to bed.

I'm grateful to have a job again, and this shift IS better than the night shift I had before, but I would really prefer something starting at 8 am or 9 am. Or at least 7 am.
