Spike read the news today oh, boy
About a lucky mare who made the grade
And though her news was rather sad
Well, he just had to laugh
He saw her photograph
He blew his letter out to the Princess
He didn't notice that Twilight had changed
A crowd of ponies stood and stared
They'd seen her face before
Nopony was really sure if she was really Twilight or not

I saw the S2 finale today oh, boy
The Mane 6 had just won the war
A crowd of Changelings were turned away
But Spike just had to look
Having read the book
He'd love to turn Twilight around...

Twi woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across her head
Found her way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, she noticed her report was late
Found her scroll and grabbed her quill
Sent the report in seconds flat
Found her way upstairs and finished the spell
And Celestia spoke and she went into a dream
Ah

I read the news today oh, boy
Four thousand holes in the finale plot
And though the holes were rather small
I had to count them all
Now I know how many holes it takes for Season 4
I'd love to turn the plot around...
