"Scarlet Skyline" by More Than Life has been stuck in my head for a while. The vocal style would be unconventional too most, but the musicality and pure emotion offereed by the song is amazing.

And, well... That intro/outro riff is the best thing ever.

the song stuck in my head right now is Three Days Grace - pain, but before that it was imagine dragons - radioactive, i have a different song stuck in my head everyday, but that's what it is right now. I constantly listen to music everyday, i think it is the most beautiful form of art, even though i make fanfic and fanart. :P Nothing speaks to me more then a good song.

I just finished watching The Tigger Movie, and I've forgotten how much I love this song. The VHS had the music video after the film, and I remember how I kept rewinding to play it over and over again. Such a heartfelt number...

Ok well there are two songs I can't get out of my head, but they are good songs, so I don't mind.

they are:

"Giants" by Five Iron Frenzy

This is a good song, here's what it says about it on Wikipedia

In "Giants" Roper references Adam Smiths' The Wealth of Nations to continue his general attacks on big business and Social Darwinism.

Here are the lyrics:

When no one looks the clouds come rolling in,
And under darkened skies the buildings grow big teeth and eyes.
They breathe and walk through unending doors,
Eating restaurants, and barbershops, and hardware stores.
With catch phrases and jingles stealing,
Steal and concrete lies,
The corridors of Babylon are craning for the skies.

Chorus:
Who's behind the curtain anyway,
Who pulls the levers and tells the lies?
Giants roam the land today,
Gaining dominance with every stride.

Oh don't you cry for the mom and pops,
Nothing but dry eyes for integrity's demise.
Hulking machines grind as whistles blow,
Corporate Darwinism crushes everything below.
Advances in efficiency increasing productivity,
Are narrowing the margin for liberty.

(Chorus)

This house is haunted by the ghost of Adam Smith,
The Wealth of Nations and the further death of innocence.
To rule the world, the desire of every man,
The earth is shaking,
There are giants in the land.

(Down with the giants x4)

See the blood red sun is rising,
On the broken carnage from the darkest days.
Giants locked together arm and arm,
Pushing all the meek out of the way.

(Chorus)

And the second one is the Brave Saint Saturn cover version of ELO's "Here is the News"

The song is about the news programs of the future, or more accurately the news programs of 2095 and voices from news reports can be heard in the background at some points in the song. I also quite like the quote at the beginning which is from the poem "And Death Shall Have No Dominion" by Dylan Thomas, here are the lyrics:

"They shall have stars at elbow and foot;
Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion.
"

Here is the news
Coming to you every hour on the hour
Here is the news
The weather's fine but there may be a meteor shower.

Here is the news
A cure's been found for good old rocket lag
Here is the news
Someone left their life behind in a plastic bag.

Here is the news
Another action filled adventure
Here is the news
All the worst from the world convention.

Here is the news
I wanna go home, I want my baby back

Here is the news
Somebody has broken out of Satellite 2
Here is the news
Look very carefully, it may be you.
