Funny thing you should mention, actually - I used to go on youtube a LOT before ponies, and before I knew it, January rolled along and it was time for the AFC Championship Game. Pretty fun experience :)

 

Oh, and occupying yourself with video games is also pretty good. I caught up on a few playstation games on the ePSXe last November like Syphon Filter and Gran Turismo 2.

The trick is to deal with that pesky lack of interest until it we get it back. Besides, think positive. You don't have to. Whose forcing you to watch it from the beginning? It's better, but you might not want to at the beginning. Hell, miss the whole season if you wish. But eventually, a HUUUUUUUGE wave of comments from bronies will come around. I think that, if your interest wasn't decided by then, maybe others comments will turn you in. Or not. Your choice!
