That show looks terrifying.

It was actually pretty good. Wasn't weird or anything, but it did hit al the classic cartoon points.

Too much work when I have two good eyes to do that for me.

I didn't bother, I'd have to get up and go outside, and who has time for that?

I took the time to wake up 09:00 yesterday, just to see what the sun looked like.

Two days after the eclipse and there are either people still talking about the eclipse or the post-eclipse delay (editing time) has resulted in a new influx of eclipse videos.

Exhibit A: ISS and the moon in front of the sun. (Really, this is nuts.) https://youtu.be/lepQoU4oek4?t=3m3s

And how is the thread on fire? I don't see a fire.

That was a weird thing, it was so fast.

If a thread is on fire, is it a fuse?

Not a lot of things can end up in front of the sun; how much more to two of them being in front of the sun at the same time?

I don't think a thread would be a reliable fuse. I mean, they aren't even conductive.

and yet I seem to recall carbonized thread was used in early light bulbs as the filament?

Is it wrong for me to keep thinking about my city builder prototype when I don't know enough on how to implement it into code?

I'll get back to you on that; I got an appointment, and that should be how that one light bulb was kept alight for 100+ years.

Dunno, does it melt down when you pass a current topic though it? :)

I don't think so, but they can be labeled as "Hot".

I dunno, but I've seen a lot of things like that, but that was pretty cool.

Not really what I meant.

I thought it was tungsten?

Nah, regardless of if it's a possible task or not, it could be a fun thing to think about.
