I'm pretty sure all of what you were seeing the past few pages was in jest, but you bring up a valid point.

 

I remember there was a thread awhile back where a user was pointing out various aspects/trends in the brony fandom that he noticed, and everyone assumed he was being a judgemental, bigoted prick. Granted, he dug himself into a really deep hole when he responded to these accusations because of his inability to come up with a proper response, but it seemed to me like he was simply making "educated assumptions," like you were saying. It appeared to me like he was, at least.

 

The thread got flamed into oblivion and locked, though. Maybe I just wasn't seeing a part of it that everyone else was.
