Back then, they would sometimes connect a bell above-ground to the coffin in case, you know, the corpse was still alive, because no one expect to accidentally bury someone who's still alive... The tubing would allow air for victims buried under the mistaken impression they were dead. Harold, the Oakdale gravedigger, upon hearing a bell, went to go see if it was children pretending to be spirits. Sometimes it was also the wind. This time it wasn’t either. A voice from below begged, pleaded to be unburied. "You Sarah O’Bannon?" "Yes!" the voice assured. "You were born on September 17, 1827?" "Yes!" "The gravestone here says you died on February 19?" "No I’m alive, it was a mistake! Dig me up, set me free!" "Sorry about this, ma’am," Harold said, stepping on the bell to silence it and plugging up the copper tube with dirt. “But this is August. Ganaram, still unsure about his writing ordeal, swiftly changed the subject, “Nova, why did you hog the bathroom?!! You know I really had to pee!!!” Ganaram crossed his legs and threw his forehooves between them to make it convincing. Nova began to question Ganaram’s behaviour, “I never did hear you knock on the bathroom door. Anyway, is something going on here?” Ganaram yelled out, “Nothing!!! It’s just that I really have to pee!!!” Nova replied, “Well, it’s because I found this page from your bedroom, Gannie...” Nova took out a piece of paper that was on top one of the side tables and placed it on the dining table that Ganaram and Gem were at. Towards the end of the paper, written in two different hoofwritings, was “Written by Ganaram Inukshuk, edited and co-written by Gem Inukshuk”. Nova inquired with the two ponies, “Were you two writing something last night?” Ganaram felt a combination of shock and anger inside him, “How did you get this?” “Well, I was wondering where you guys were this morning, so I checked your bedroom, and it was unlocked, so--” “NOVA!!! YOU CAN’T JUST BARGE INTO MY ROOM AND TAKE MY STUFF LIKE THAT!!! THAT’S AN INVASION OF PRIVACY!!!” Ganaram was absolutely infuriated. “Well, how can it be private if you and Gem were--” “NOVA, JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!!!” Ganaram took the paper and stormed off into his room.
