I'm really hoping my new graphics card doesn't suffer a premature death, 'cause that would suck horribly. (GTX 1070, by the BTW.)

I'm serious, by the way; I've burnt through two graphics cards within the past three months.

In my case, C++ 1, C++ 2, and a class on data structures. And discrete math also helps. And it helps to know what a state table is, determinism and nondeterminism, and what the heck a Markov chain is. And it really helps to pay attention to the part where they bring up overloaded operators. It took me until data structures to understand what an overloaded operator even does. And what vectors are. And what maps are; anyone who's learned Python first will know what a dictionary is, but for whatever reason, I never had a chance to learn the C++ equivalent until data structures.

I like how the bot uses my emoticons and squiggly usage too.
This bot is pretty cool, if I do say so myself!~ o3o

I'm guessing none of you guys know how to use GIMP, right?

I only touched it a small bit when I was messing with vectors and such. Never really got indepth with it.

I see the word vector and I thought you were talking about the data structure. This is the problem when you have math, art, and computer science overlapping; you have one word that means different things depending on the context.

What I really wanna do is feed all the training data into a proper neural network; Markov chains are fun and all, but they're just too random, and unless I dig deeper for even more training data, it gets repetitive.

Maybe I should invest in a pastebin account.

See, this is what happens when you have words that are tied to its context; I only ever know GIMP as the drawing program and, yes, I went as far as considering getting an art tablet for my computer.

<facedesk> Someone help me...

UPDERP: Apparently, I need a minimum of 1MB of training data for effective training. And a Linux VM.

I only have 54K for Cinny, 48K for Gannie, 62K for Haven, 39K for Punic, and 17K for Vissy. Even if I mashed them all together, that's 220K.

Unless someone's fine with helping me fetch training data at around the 5800 page and back, and I even considered an automated method...

Question: are you OK with fetching all the forum posts you ever made as training data?

Since I never populated a file for you, just go through as many of your posts as you can until you have maybe 100MB worth of training data.

Also, share it externally if you can.

I think he mean's copy and paste your posts into text documents until you have 100 MB worth.

now that I understand :P

Still, that's lots of posts. And lots of time. Not that I'm just soo busy but you know

Dumbing things down is a gift, I know.

It's pretty simple, just really boring.

Oh, and Punic... You think you can do the same with you...?

Maybe, I don't know. I've been pretty busy lately. Like, actually busy, not excuse busy.

I'll see if I can get to it.

Maybe I'll also share the source code, but it's a bot that will stitch together sentences based on what was already said.

In terms of intelligence, it's kinda dumb and it's train of thought is worse than mine.
