So I already play the piano but I want to start up the guitar. I am currently in 8th grade and I was thinking of learning it online, would that be easier or should I have some lessons first, or lessons all the way through?

Thanks~

Well I think you should try it first before you start full lessons. You never know you may not like it =D

As learning right from square one can be quite challenging for many, lessons, as an initial introduction to a new instrument, would be a good idea to help you to grasp the fundamentals of the instrument you choose to pick up. Of course, as you begin to progress past the essentials, and feel as if you can comfortably learn without any further assistance, you always have the option of dropping the lessons and playing purely for recreation and enjoyment.

Learning from another human being in person seems the best way to do things for me.

I think you should go from piano to guitar. Then you can try our brass instruments, like the Saxophone.
