Nightmare and their self titled album are the weakest AX7 albums in my opinion. You should listen to Waking the Fallen and City of Evil. Both are very much enjoyable

Actually, Master of Puppets is absolutely TERRIBLE, definitely not Metallica's best song. I like the band and all, but that song I just can't like even if my life was on the line.

Radiohead is overrated. Radiohead had a few good songs, but weren't exactly good enough to be LEGENDS IMO.

 

 

 

 

Radiohead were revolutionary, and one of the most outside-of-the-box bands that ever made it somewhere. Not only that they also were able to keep changing their styles and make those style changes on their albums to be solid, and a standout compared to the rest, there aren't really many bands that were able to do that. Listen to the entire Kid A album and then try to say that they aren't good enough to be legends.

Nirvana are good, though they aren't the greatest Grunge band, I'd choose Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and Melvins over them anyday (sorry Dawn)

Bands like Asking Alexandria and A7X aren't Emo, Screamo, or anything like that, listen to a proper Emo or Screamo band before saying that bands like these are those genres.

I think overall, I would rate Metallica's albums something like this:

 

...And Justice For All > Master of Puppets > Death Magnetic > Ride the Lightning/Black Album/Kill Em' All > Load/Reload/St. Anger

Did I compare them? No I didn't genius. I said that they weren't Emo nor were they Screamo bands, that's all, I never said they were alike, I was just using them as examples as bands that people misinterpret as Screamo and Emo music.

And no they aren't up there with Black Sabbath nor Metallica, Radiohead were never Metal in the first place. Yeah, I can get why you wouldn't like the album Kid A, but regardless of that Radiohead have a status as being unique and experimental. What makes them so legendary is the different sounds that they make in their songs as well as different styles, a different reason then why bands like Black Sabbath and Metallica are up where they are.

All in all, Radiohead are up there but in a different spot than Black Sabbath and Metallica.

Slayer are much better than Metallica.

Slayer were highly influencial towards the creation of; death metal, black metal (Mayhem sites them as an influence), melodic death metal, even grindcore and metalcore. So why does Metallica get more praize?

Metallica get all the praise because well...they're a lot easier to listen to for most people, since not everyone likes to hear songs about hell, and Metallica aren't nearly as Extreme as Slayer are in more categories than just lyrics.

 

Though anyways, I think that I'm the only person who thinks that Sepultura are the best Thrash band, and they're one of the few Thrash bands that I could listen to frequently.

In terms of extreme metal, we owe it all to Slayer (and Kreator, Venom and Sodom). Metallica is much easier to listen too i guess, TBA makes it obvious.

I'll agree with you on Radiohead and King Crimson. Although, I think it's no secret how incredible these bands are. In the Court of the Crimson King was such an important album for prog.
