I just can't stand it when people my age say things like "Music today is horrible". Then they make stupid comparisons of one older artist to a newer artist. For example, they'll compare Led Zeppelin to Nicki Minaj. That's a stupid comparison, that's like me comparing Madonna to Between the Buried and Me. The Eagles is an old band, I'm pretty sure, and I believe most songs are sung by this piece of shit singer named " Don Henley " Who sounds like ass. And finally, music nowadays, Nicki Minaj is trash, Justin Bieber used to be a little girl, but then turned into a douchebag, Taylor Swift is a slut, she's been with an asston of boys, then writes songs about them, like, she uses a boy to write every song she's ever had. It's just a shame that the most famous Power Metal bands are boring as hell, the really interesting and creative ones aren't really well known. John Myung's skills as a bassist are far more impressive than John Petrucci's skills as a guitarist. I just wish they'd turn Myungs's bass up. Dream Theater is a little overrated, just a little. Electric bass is far more interesting than electric guitar. I just wish it was valued more and turned up louder in lots of bands, you can do amazing things on a bass but in so many bands the bassist just writes some boring crap because they know it'll just be turned down low in the background so why bother writing anything good? Damn shame. Oh, and Megadeth is so overrated it isn't even funny. Dave Mustaine sounds like a cat being strangled with razor wire and his guitar playing is pretty good, nothing special. Wu-Tang Clan is way overrated. West coast rap isn't better or worse than East coast rap. Kendrick Lamar is overrated and only has 2 bearable songs.
