Hey I listened to a song off of Bitched Brew and I liked it. Would you recomend that I listen to the rest of that album or listen to something else?

Absolutely, listen to the whole thing! Nothing swings harder than "Spanish Key" and I've never heard anything as funky as "Miles Runs the Voodoo Down". Best album I've ever purchased!

 

People have already suggested some of the essential Miles Davis albums ("In a Silent Way", "A Tribute to Jack Johnson", "Sketches of Spain" and "Kind of Blue"). Here are some other great ones that are lesser-known, and I bet you'll like: Try "On the Corner" (another album I own), "Pangaea", and "Agharta" for some even more "out there" kinds of jazz.

 

I will make an on-topic post next, but I'll let someone else post first. Besides, I need to start writing my list of unpopular opinions!

I'm going to probaly end up restating stuff I've said before but anyways.

-I think while Justin beiber is wayyy over rated, he isn't as bad as alot of people make him out to be.

-I enjoy alot of music now a days that comes out, and some older music to.

-I don't think Nickleback is really a bad band.

-Despite the fact alot of girls are typically into his music it seems, I also like Bruno mar's music, probably one of my favorite pop artists, despite the fact I mostly listen to rock.

-I don't really like opera music, but besides that I don't really think I hate any genre of music as a whole.

I hate Muse so much. I used to be a fan of them, but ever since I heard Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Queen etc. I haven't got the ability to take them seriously, I'd be able to appreciate their salad of everything that's already been done if they actually did a good job on their music,but their songs sound so bland and uninteresting, The Resistance is one of the worst albums that I've heard and I hate their vocalist, he really needs to shut up in a lot of his songs, his vocals are what ruin most of the songs with the fact of how he bursts out loud way too much in his music making the songs sound really dumb and bland.

Glad to hear we won't be rubber chicken dueling over this , and like I said its cool with me.

 

Some of the others I like are Breaking Benjamin, Red, Pillar, Three Days grace, and some Queen stuff to. Thats not all, but I guess it'll give you a bit of variety into the rock stuff I listen to.

 

The other genres normally have me listening to a few songs here and there I like from artists, so rock is typically where I consistently like stuff from artists, atleast thats my experience from what I've heard.

I agree with you to an extent that it is their weakest album. I have never heard Go, might go check it out. Daughter and Dissident  are the only two that really stick out to me. Ten was way better.

Decades don't matter, except the 90's has a slight edge over the others. 

Coldplay, 3 Days Grace, Linkin Park, and Greenday don't suck per say, they just aren't for everyone/ too mainstream

 

I think the shit tier list needs to be organized into more than one tier, because some of that stuff is a lot worse than others. Basically have a Shittier/mm'k list and a Shittiest list.

Yes, I'm serious. As much as I hate bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Skillet, I'm going to try to be tolerant of other people's taste in music.
