It hasn't been cancelled, it's merely between seasons. We'll likely see it return in June or July. Last time, we didn't get a new season for 11 months. Just be patient.

Im sort of glad it has come to and end now *please hear me out before you kill me* Futurama was an amazing show and I cant think of a single episode that I dont like, Even the multi-parters they did were really good. Its better it ends now leaving an amazing back catalogue of episodes instead of running its self into the ground like The Simpsons has. 

Its better to quit while your on top rather then becoming hated for being stale.

I have never been a huge fan of anything, it's sad to see this show get canceled, really liked Futurama.

I will admit that the latest season wasn't nearly as good as the rest, and I'm pretty sure that's the reason why. It was a great show, and it had more than 6 seasons, so we can at least be glad about that.

This proves otherwise. The season starting in June is the final season, at least as of right now, because Comedy Central has stated they are NOT renewing the series. Thus, after the final episode of season 7 runs on September 4th, it is done for, potentially for good this time.

 

It's disheartening, as the show is still good, but there's not much we can do about it besides bang down Comedy Central's door with torches and pitchforks.

No, it's been cancelled. Comedy Central didn't pick up any more episodes. The final half of season 7 starts in July and ends on September 3. This is the beginning of the end.

Futurama was one of the only shows I still watched on TV. Admittedly, the new episodes weren't quite as good, but that happens with any show that lasts a long time. The memes seemed to kill it once the show realized they were around. I hated those ads they always aired. Guess I won't be watching TV much anymore except for ponies.

Buck the haters, I love those shows. I also enjoy Person of Interest and Elementary... And Project Runway...

 

I like TV.

 

THAT SAID... Thank God this show is dying. Sad for the fans, but I always hated it.

Oh, great. The only adult show that bothered to put some effort into itself is done. Unlike Family Guy, the humor was always well-thought out and spot on, rather than random and extremely hit-and-miss. Well, it sure as hell had a good run, and even came back from the dead. I guess we should be glad for that.

Oh, I see, so were both right. It's coming back for another season in September and THEN it's going to get cancelled. Oh well, sometimes you have to know when enough is enough. I hate to see futurama become the next Simpsons.
