Crystallize 278 August 31, 2013 Share August 31, 2013 Watched Brave a few days ago. There's something about the film that I didn't like but can't put my finger on what it is. One thing I didn't like was the plot though. One of Pixar's most forgettable films.
Jokuc 8,170 August 31, 2013 Share August 31, 2013 I just watched a documentary from Vice about a japanese "Suicide Forest" called Aokigahara. It's about this forest in Japan which is a popular place to commit suicide. There's bodies all over the place and I must admit, it was quite creepy. um I also recently watched one of the Swedish "Johan Falk" movies, I don't know which one it was, but those are Thriller/Crime movies.
Buttonmash1973 1,017 September 7, 2013 Share September 7, 2013 Beethoven's 2nd. Typical American 1990's comedy with burger eating contests, a classic ballad and on. But worth a watch anyway. Problem Child. One of those classic comedies with forgotten kid celebrties. Also starring Gilbert Gottfried.
Modphase 1,269 September 7, 2013 Share September 7, 2013 I don't many movies at all. The last movie I watched was about a month ago, 3:10 to Yuma. Screw what the critics think, I thought it was spectacular.
GrimCW 656 September 7, 2013 Share September 7, 2013 (edited) Watched the new Riddick movie the other day Was actually pretty good tbh, but the opening and reasoning it gave left a lot to be desired IMO. Even had a surprise at the end when i saw the same joystick I own for my PC being used as a prop (won't say anything more, trying to avoid spoilers) A lot of people slam the Riddick movies (except pitch black) and for some reason consider him the "anti-Hero" convict as the characters in each claim. But really.. has riddick killed anyone that DIDN'T deserve it outright in any of his flicks? TBH he's more a misunderstood good guy. He's living a tough life, and is one of very few survivors left of his race. He only really has one goal, and it isn't to be a murderous a-hole... an a-hole yes, but not generally a murderous one. Though they need to go back and explain his original crimes.. I mean aside from escaping from butcher bay as was shown in the games, what did he do to get branded a convict in the first place?... maybe i missed it somewhere (then again i haven't watched dark fury yet.. maybe its in that?) Edit: and now i'm a bunny.. neat Not sure i'd wanna be one though.. angel is a prick to FS.. In a good way i guess, but come on..... ASocialyAwkwardPony 299 September 7, 2013 Share September 7, 2013 I just finished watching Wreck-It Ralph, and considering the current state of most Disney media I was pleasantly surprised. In fact this is probably my new favorite Pixar film, and I love how they manage to include so many video game references and parodies in a way that made it come off as a loving tribute rather than just studio hacks trying to cash in on "the kids liek video games right?" like it usually is. I strongly recommend it.

Prince Of Madness 28 September 8, 2013 Share September 8, 2013 The last movie I watched was yesterday and it was called Death Race, Which By the way I thought was Terrible. The acting Sucked All around.
Broseph 215 September 8, 2013 Share September 8, 2013 You're Next. It was pretty good, I like how it didn't take itself seriously and it actually had quite a few intentionally funny moments. It had a good 80's Slasher Horror vibe to it as well, which was also good.Although the acting wasn't that great and at times, the dialogue was a bit.. Dumb?7/

scooterlou 23 September 9, 2013 Share September 9, 2013 Last movie I saw was How to Train Your Dragon - my boyfriend hadn't seen it, and it's one of my most favorite movies of all time. I especially love Toothless. He is best dragon, hands down.
The Handmaid 19 September 9, 2013 Share September 9, 2013 The last movie I saw was "Hunger". It was a bit gory and most of it was people eating other people, but the way the story flowed and the order it went in made it amazing. And usually I don't like scary movies or just movies that make me scared to walk outside, but it still contained the scariness to a certain level. Jack Spades 162 September 9, 2013 Share September 9, 2013 I saw "Dale and Tucker VS. Evil" The first half was dumb and ridiculous, but the other half compensated for the first half. It was a meh movie.
Esk 201 September 10, 2013 Share September 10, 2013 (edited) Mystery Men. It's funny because I was watching it with my mother, and at one point in the film she mentioned, "you know, your grandfather thinks I look like Janeane Garofalo," and I said, "you know, she's wearing green eyeliner in this film, it's not a good comparison.." She and I have meaningful conversations. Edited September 10, 2013 by eskaryel

Buttonmash1973 1,017 September 13, 2013 Share September 13, 2013 A Nightrmare on Elm Street. Not so bad of a Michale Bay remake. REC. Classic handheld horror. You're Next. Worth the wait. Even if the trailer shows it all there are some twists.
