Creamy Arty 6,251 November 17, 2013 Share November 17, 2013 The Final Sacrifice. It's a horrible Canadian sci-fi movie. Some kid gets chased around by members of a cult due to his father's past investigation of them, encounters someone who is a former member and tries to protect the kid, and they ultimately kill the dude who leads it. It's a low-budget movie devoid of special effects, any surprising plot twists, and doesn't make too much sense either. Wouldn't have even watched it if Mystery Science Theater 3000 didn't feature it in one episode, which I watched with NewCalamity after he suggested it. Bad as it was, it was fun to watch, especially with Tom, Crow, and Mike ragging on it the whole time. Equestria Girls with my little brother. That damn song... The one in the cafeteria? If so, I loved it. Didn't mind the rest of the movie either.
Derpaholic 1,154 November 17, 2013 Share November 17, 2013 It didn't suck, but it wasn't exactly good either.I was actually kind of indifferent towards this one. 2/5, not watching again.
Buttonmash1973 1,017 November 22, 2013 Share November 22, 2013 (edited) Nine 2009 Daniel Day Lewis and other celebrites stars in this dreamlike musical about making of movies. It's beautiful to look at, but just like Equestria Girls tghe half of the songs is forgotten. 8/10 Scooby Doo 2002 Both Owen Wilson and Rowan Atkinson in a live action Scooby Doo movie. Some silly entertainment for Halloween. 7/10 Edited November 22, 2013 by Ulrik Raben
Jokuc 8,170 November 22, 2013 Share November 22, 2013 (edited) I watched good old James Bond: Goldfinger from 1964 with Sean Connery. I've seen it many times before and I think it's really good. It was on tv yesterday so I thought, eh, why not! There was nothing else to watch anyways. I suppose most of you have seen it but it's about this rich guy called goldfinger (his finger isn't literally gold of course) and he has a great plan to steal from a bank. But as usual, James Bond aka 007 will be there to stop him. Edited November 22, 2013 by Jokuc
CT-1138 3,176 November 22, 2013 Share November 22, 2013 Got around to watching Iron Man 3 the other night, and it's decently made, but the plot is atrocious! It goes right into the action far too quickly, and some of the plot points I'm not sure were explained so much as I had to figure them out myself. That'd be great if it were some deep, meaningful movie, but it's not. And the Mandarin Twist! They turned a criminal mastermind into a joke, and made a great actor look like a drunken idiot! This would be like taking Michael Caine as Alfred, and adding a plot twist that turns out instead of Bruce Wayne's long time friend, he's just some janitor that works at the mansion. And the ending, I can understand why Tony destroyed all the suits, but why remove the mini arc reactor? Without that, Tony is just some genius billionaire playboy philanthropist with a high tech suit of armor. It'd be like taking away Superman's strength, Batman's cowl, or Spidey's ability to shoot webbing.

Proctra Music 334 November 30, 2013 Share November 30, 2013 (edited) Scary Movie 3 last night, classic man I'll tell ya. I just love slapstick comedy too much. They did so much right with this, all the jokes are still fresh after the thousandth time seeing it. Don't really care for Scary Movie 5 though, that was just awful. I gotta recommend watching that Silent Hill Revelation movie. I'm a huge fan of the original Silent Hill series, and a pretty big horror fanatic in general, but I mean it when I say this went way under the radar. The Plot really managed to hold it's own from the game it was based around, but still stay extremely original. Another thing was that the CGI was fantabulous, excellently executed. Everything look really demented and truly disturbing, true to Silent Hill form. Super effective in getting me back to that feel of disgust, but curiosity of what it was I that I had been looking at that the old games excelled at.
