The last two movies I watched were The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Puella Magi Madoka Magica -Rebellion- (I'd like to call it Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Spells of Rebellion)

Here are my thoughts on each one (My experience has no spoilers, but my thoughts on the actual movie are in spoilers)

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

When me and my sister saw this, one of my cousins and her friends from school showed up at the showtime we saw this movie at. We even said next to them. The last movie I saw them at was The Butler, although they went to the upstairs theater at the cinema showing The Butler (I think they saw Elysium, which was rated R, but these girls are middle schoolers. I didn't even see their parents...or maybe they were in the theater.)

This movie was good, but it was unintentionally funny now that I look at it because of the product placements. Those seemed to happen REALLY OFTEN. Let me summarize what the whole movie was mostly like:

Walter Mitty is waiting for the train-EHARMONY GUY CALLS!

Walter Mitty went on an elevator-HE HAS A STRETCH ARMSTRONG TOY! (Speaking of Stretch Armstrong, I did find the fight scene with the toy weird and funny at the same time.)

EVERYONE HAS IPHONES!

Walter Mitty is escaping from a volcano-PAPA JOHNS!

Walter Mitty is at an airport-THEY'RE EATING CINNABON!

Walter Mitty went back to his old office-MCDONALDS SLOGAN REFERENCE!

PRODUCT PLACEMENT PRODUCT PLACEMENT PRODUCT PLACEMENT!

The main problem I have with this film is that little kids in my area keep on seeing this film because it is rated PG like many family and animated films in the recent years. I even saw two children about 8-9 years old at my showing, and a few days later, a little girl whom must have been no older than 4, went to see the film because she parked in the parking lot and was watching Toy Story 3 on the way there. By the way, the scary things in Walter Mitty are WORSE than the scary things in the movie the girl watched on the way there...and later in the day, a 5 year old and his 10 year old brother saw a later showing. Keep in mind that the next showing of a kids' movie in both cases was about 2-3 hours away.  Four other PG movies which were meant for older audiences but still got PG ratings were Love Labour's Lost, Big Miracle, We Bought a Zoo (which I didn't see that many kids at, because a lot of kids wanted to see Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, which we saw before we went back to school from winter break), and the Clannad movie, which my dad saw a little girl and her father watching, possibly because they thought "if it's animated and rated PG, it's for kids". (By the way, I did buy the Clannad movie so I could watch it on a car ride to Lancaster, PA for Easter vacation.) If this movie is one of the movies at Regal Cinema's Summer Movie Express, I'm going to laugh if me and my sister are the only ones in the theater while most of the other kids are seeing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 or whatever movie they pair with it. (They usually play two movies that are rated either PG or G on Tuesdays and Wednesdays over the summer, and Walter Mitty might be a candidate for this program.)

Puella Magi Madoka Magica -Rebellion-

I have been waiting for this movie for a year, and I finally got to see it. They gave out signboards for this movie at every screening of the film, and i thought I wouldn't get one, but I did. I luckily got the Nagisa Momoe and Mami Tomoe one, which most people at my showing got. I even helped out someone who got the board by telling who the new character was.

This movie was really awesome! Although the ending was a bit cruel with Homura evily changing the Law of Cycles to make Homura happy, I thought it was a good ending because Homura did what she wanted to (save Madoka from being a magical girl) and she saved all the girls who disappeared in the previous universe seen at the end of the series (Nagisa, Madoka, and Sayaka). I liked Nagisa because she was Charlotte, who is a cute Witch from the series. I already knew three major spoilers before I saw the movie besides the first half of the movie up to the point where Mami and Homura fight over Charlotte (because I thought I'd never see it): Nagisa is Charlotte (which was pretty obvious due to a few things from both her character design and movie promotional material), the recreation of Madoka's hometown is a fake, and Homura becomes a demon...er...no, sorry. When I think of demons, I think of the ones from Equestria Girls. I'd call her a fallen angel, because she looked like a dark angel. Anyway, this was the best movie I've ever seen.

Me and my hubby just finished 2 days ago all the Harry Potter blueray movies. Now its on to all the Star Wars movies on blueray! We watched the first one last night. I have to say...despite a load of flaws of it, like horrible acting from some of the characters, and some characters that are just flat out annoying like Jarjar Binx, it still had its entertainment value.

I watched Dredd, the 2012 remake, last night.

It's the second time I watched it, it's an alright movie, not the greatest movie ever but by no means a bad movie.
