I'm gonna start on my post as the twins later on today, and should have it up by tonight.

With that being said, I've noticed a few discrepancies in the RP's timeline, which is going to complicate things…

It seems that Colette and Fluttershy are ahead of everyone else at this point. I'm just gonna pull a ubiquitous synergy seeking time skip and say it's morning for everyone.

Which brings us to the issue of the queen's abduction, which complicates things. I honestly feel it would be inappropriate to just head off to Jack's race-- especially since either twin will inform everyone post haste.

But I wanna know what you guys wanna do... The race or the Queen?

Shoot, the race was to be a major plot point for Jack, who would put full focus onto the ponies after what would happen to him. Besides, do all the rest of the ponies know that there are Changelings amongst them? It's your call.

Good thing i managed to go into the morning in those posts that you did with Fluttershy and TS in the morning. 

The ponies could very well say that well... they want to gather their forces, you could get more guys to help to the search, allies and shit. The agents could go after individual ponies like Dash and Dennis, Colette and Fluttershy, they could even go towards the changelings IF they know who they are which i think they don't. 

The Changelings could claim their Queen takes priority and there could be a fight as to "We can't go alone like that!" There could be a split. Ponies like their lawful order suggests could go to official authorities and ask for help or whatever maybe even falling to other agents this way. 

I picture what few free ponies left including RD and maybe Dennis due to being so fast and all could gather the fanbase, the true authorities and raid them agents hiding places. The changelings could very well attempt to impersonate high-ranking police officials to go with warrants and stuff at the places the agents are and demand the release of their Queen/ponies. They could have reinforcements from cops or anything you want.

That's the thing… I was hoping to have everyone be together when the shit hit the fan, Jack and Catherine included. I also want to see all of the Equestrians captured by the agents.

 

Maybe the Pony Finders can be the ones to appeal to the public in helping to find the Ponies… From there, they can get the authorities and the media involved in searching for the Equestrians…?

Here's my idea. When the ponies are at the airport, they are captured by the agents posing as TSA units, and shipped away to an unknown location. The finders do not know this, but upon finding out, a massive uproar within the fandom breaks out, and then, with the help of a horde of angry fans, try to rescue them. Of course, I don't know how that last bit will work out.

I'll retcon this after I'm done watching the be Hobbit. All I'll say from my breath skimming is this: an unknown location we could use would be my agent's facility, "The Docks" as they call it. Of course, my people use that and they aren't allied at all, Sooo yeah.

 

EDIT: OK, so here's my two cents.

 

I like the idea of the TSA thing. It could work fairly easily. The Changelings going after their Queen with or without help: logical course of action.

 

Personally, I say we leave the fandom out of the whole search and rescue arc. It'll complicate things, and to me feels really out of place. And they will most likely end up becoming collateral. Same with there being law enforcement and government help.

 

Remember that the CIA and FBI have field agents hunting them. The government is after them, so why would they help rescue them? If there was to be any outside help for our group, I see it most likely happening against my crew. They aren't strictly under one government and aren't acting under orders from any government. Plus their home base cannot be driven to.

 

But back to getting outside help. It is highly unlikely from any circumstance. Law enforcement has more to worry about in their jurisdiction areas without going on a wild chase to rescue a group of aliens that for all they know are dangerous. As I mentioned, the government (at least America's, considering they're all here in America) is hunting them after all.

 

So yeah. There's my two cents.

Sorry for the late reply! I didn't want to start rge next post until we decided what the Equestrians were gonna do… I'm gonna try and work on a post later today…

 

Anyway, let's incorporate Red's idea of having the Equestrians abducted at the airport.

 

That does bring up the issue of the Changelings… I'm gonna have a twin notify Colette in my next post in order t alert the princess, so…

 

00Pony does make a good point, though. Local authorities are subordinate to federal authority. Whilst technically, any law enforcing body could go after 00Pony's agents, they'll be pretty much powerless to stop the agents that are working for the government…

 

I also think that the Chagelings impersonating high level government bodies or even the president is an all around bad idea. Their disguises would only get them so far, and would more than likely get them imprisoned and/or killed once they're found out.

 

Which leads to the Equestrian's rescue and or escape… any ideas on how we could feasibly pull that one off?

Well i figured that this idea would be bad but just threw it out there. Also... why would you even make a rage post? Afterall you planned so far didn't you? Well i don't mean to be rude or anything but you probably should have seen something like this coming.

If what i talked about with 00pony goes well and i succeed in this... then the Queen will escape and be on the run probably aiming to re-unite with David together with the changelings. Let's say that the ponies will get captured in the meantime and Queen Chrysalis and the changelings shall go undercover trying to gain intel whilst organising the humans together to direct public unrest against the captors.

All in all the rescue will not totally be 100% legal. Legal cases could include pleading for Asylum or National Amnesty. I am unaware how effective these would be but as a last resort the changelings could end up using violence to some extent during the capture or the rescue. I know for sure that Meteorite has considered using violence against the agents, and so has Queen Chrysalis and before you start saying "Don't Kill people" i tell you that in such cases there might not be deaths but there might be considerable torture.

I know for certain that 00pony did use tasers. Changelings could make a similar tactic by absorbing human emotions to the point they cause them to be unconsious.

As i might have said before there is always the Asylum and National Amnesty and stuff like that. 

The full-on public unrest might make the agents release the ponies or whatever but in the case of Queen Chrysalis i think in the end she's gonna have to free herself. Reasons for that cannot be stated freely but i can just say that this is going to be a huge mess. Either or else i don't think the ponies share the care of the changelings on this whether it is justified or not. 

Hell i don't remember many of them reacting at Chrysalis transforming into the monster-devourer, the song she sung during the dream, or the "emotion lights" ((the emotions made visible like the northern lights.)) But again that might just be me so don't take it so seriously. 

All in all i do want to see the ponies going on full on panicking that they may never see Equestria again. I want to see them learning how to care about a person that was formerly their deadliest enemy. It would make a great twist for character development.

And i want to see the humans do something similar... that would be pure awesome.

Well there is another way. He can go off the grid means eather stage a quit at the NSA or Quit Real this time and go off the gird for awhile. Or find out who play him for a fool at the NSA since there are espoinge. I do need him do something anyway. He will be not him self since Rarity will be capture.

Even better... what if Twilight was with the Changelings, ie on the rescue mission that Cicada and Diliges plan, so when the other ponies are captured, she's free? Of course, Twilight would want to rescue her friends, but for the time being she'd be stuck with the Changelings. Would be great character development cuz she'd have to stick with them and understand them rather than be with her friends, and learn to appreciate them and work with them!

Because he's knowingly and willingly harboring an alien,I see Charles more than likely being fired, all of assets and bank accounts frozen, and a warrant placed on his head. That'd be quite the surprise for Charles, I bet!

@@Hypn0ticD, Yes but wouldn't that be the same for every law officer or in fact... EVERY HUMAN that has actually interacted with the ponies/changelings? Why just him i mean? 

Also i know that in Mass Effect the protocol when meeting a new species is "Assume Hostility". But i just can't help but wonder why the FBI or others would even bother hiding until the time is right to sneak them one by one? I mean... they are the law right? And the law acts in the light? So okay they barge in the homes with a warrant and arrest them. There... done... easy arrests and easy capturing of individually separated aliens. 

Like they could have done it during the night in the same time as Queen Chrysalis. That would have been ideal...

Fireblaze's right. Many government bodies rely on covert tactics in order to apprehend some of the more dangerous targets. Doing everything out in the open would certainly backfire, as no agent would get very far --  not to mention, it would be boring and pretty stupid if the agents or the NSA announced their every strategy...

 

Oh, and just  because there's a warrant out on him, it doesn't mean he has to be arrested -- he can escape!

I promised to wait until Pripyat and Red agreed to this, but I'm gonna post this up whilst I wait for someone to post...

Red put forth an idea about the U.S. Government detecting a meteorite in the '70sk, crashing into the earth in the '80s, and detaining it in Area 51 ever since.

Red's original idea was to have the meteorite posses an unusual alien virus that the agents suspect the Equestirans of having some connection to it.

I proposed that it be modified so that the meteorite emits a “radiation” that turns out to be magic-- magic that Chrysalis or Twilight can use to augment their powers to aid in getting all the Equestrians home.

That being said, I think the Queen should be the one to use this strange meteorite, as she is the one who cast the spell, and hasn't had much of a chance to be very active in the RP... Twilight can help out, however!

I'll try and flesh this idea out after a bit of sleep... In the meantime, I wanna know what you guys think in the meantime!

 I agree this would be plausible however i do have an objection. It would make for an interesting twist or thing if Queen Chrysalis had to gather "love" or "energy" from the fans.

I had this great idea about Queen Chrysalis in the end, making her a bit the center of the story as there are some complications with the spell... anyways... i think i should talk about this with you on a pm.
