Why move the sun and the moon?

Would the everfree forest be a crack in the dome, then? That would explain why (if I'm not mistaken) we never see the sun or moon in there...

We do see the moon in the Everfree forest, in the second part of the pilot episode... here is a picture:

Grrr. Oh well, so much for that theory.

 

I still sorta like the idea of the sun and moon being moved by Celestia and Luna. After all, it cements their power; an entire tribe of unicorns vs. two ponies.
