I became prestige master a month after the game was released.

 

... Or maybe you just play the game a crapton. I played that game a lot when it came out and it took me till July to hit prestige master. (I quit playing it during Spring semester, but still). There's always stat resets.

Ok, am I the only one that's very excited about the new Marksman rifles?  Black Ops 2 made me fall in love with the semi-auto rifles with the FAL, and now we'll have an entire class of nothing but semi-auto guns.  Well I know what I'll be using nonstop when I get the game.

I really like the new features Infinity ward have added for Ghosts especially audio, some destruction and sliding I think it's a nice much needed change for the COD series I'm happy about my pre order .

I like it.

 

I think it will give Cod the change it needs, but keeps the same fast paced gameplay we come to expect from COD.

 

The destructible environments could definitely be better. It's still a nice touch though. My only wish is that the Missile Strike work on all maps.

 

Marksman Riffle class is okay. It's not something I see myself using a lot.

 

All in all, they have earned my preorder.

not that i am a hater but after a while of playing cod MW2/BO/MW3/BO2 it kind of got boring at some point the action always repeats itself tho i will give ghosts a try and i hope they will make it a bit different any one agrees? till now mw2 and mw3 are the best

Your not alone. I'm also disappointed at the limited editions, and at least there will be no lag. No host migration, but I just hope the dedicated servers also apply to the PS4.

I hope it applies to PS4 too, but I doubt it. I think it's something on Microsoft's part, as I've heard the Xbox One has dedicated servers for all XBL things, and not just for Ghosts.

Some things.

 

 

 -Ghosts will have dedicated servers on all platforms.

 

 -Extinction Mode (IF's answer to zombies. Essentially the same as Zombies, except with aliens)

 

 -Will include a new sight. Similar to the MMS for BlOps2, but cannot see through walls. Includes heavily blurred peripheral vision and the ability to flip down the sight and go back to iron sights

 

 -Highest level is 60.

 

 -Challenges won't reset after prestiging.

 

 -Challenges will unlock character customization items.

 

 -CoD Points from Black Ops 1 to return as "Squad Points." All items available near start.

 

 -Known Maps: Strikezone/Whiteout/Chasm/Stonehaven

 

 -Will be able to go from XBOX 360 -> XBOX One/PS3 -> PS4 and not lose progress from the former.

 

 -Squads Mode

 

 -Main campaign characters will be Hesh and Logan.

 

 -Major campaign spoilers.

 

Campaign revolves around the hacking of the ODIN Space Station, a nuclear threat deterrent, which shots down Tungsten rods, which were designed to shoot down nuclear missiles. Used by the Federation to destroy America.

The Federation is a group of unified South American countries. Considered 2nd/3rd superpower (unclear if China is considered a superpower). Main antagonist. Invades USA after attacks by the ODIN SS.

 

 

 -Clans will play a bigger part (See video).

 

 -Squads Mode will allow you to play as all 10 of your characters against CPU or users. Will include 1 player-controlled squad member and 9 CPU controlled members. All members are customizable. Can earn XP while offline.

 

 - NOT CONFIRMED: Gamestop employee told my brother this. Season pass will alloy you to get DLC a week early. Could be BS.

 

 -Clans will be cross-platform.

 

 -Clans will have own MLG rules playlist. 4V4 similar to Black Ops 2 League Play.

 

 -PC could see ranked server renting/browsing.

All of it sounds great. Especially the clan/campaign parts. Will probably suck at Extinction mode about as much as I suck at Zombies.

This is all I have to say on the matter. I'm withholding my hatred of this game series so I don't go on an extremely long rant about how the game is copy-pasted bullshit from 2007, or how they charge you literally 2 games worth if you want all the DLC, or any of that bullshit.

- 1 Sat Com = All enemies within a team members eyesight will be shown as red dots

 

- 2 Sat Coms = Slow UAV

 

- 3 Sat Coms = Fast UAV

Was checking it out, and the link doesn't work. Have you registered the clan for Ghosts yet? It just takes me to a Ghosts page that says "Unable to load page"

Some things I've heard from people who have the game early, from YouTubers to pro players.

 

- Game is very heavily in favor of Assault Riffles and Snipers

 

- Maps are huge

 

- Lack of flank routes

 

- Snipers are more deadly than they have been.

 

-  Lack of pro settings.

 

- No CTF

 

 

People are saying this could be a boring year for competitive. Most of the complaints are from the maps themselves. Good thing I hear though is that online connections are good.

Yeah, I couldn't care less about CTF or Hardpoint, but those could be replaced in League Play. Clan Wars won't be the same as LP. What if I don't want to join a clan?

I have been wanting to play CTF on Black Ops II, but in the case of the PC community, there is usually only about 10 people playing it at a time. So if they remove it in Ghosts, there's almost no difference for PC COD player.

That sounds good to me; I found Black Ops II maps to usually favour short ranged weapons. I expect map sizes are not going to be nearly as big as those from WAW. But still, I hope they will be bigger than what the typical map size has been lately.

So, I have done quite a bit of research on this game since my first post. I made that post shortly after seeing the first bit of real footage. I was disappointed at the time and it pissed me off, so I made that post. I think I need to kinda take those words back, which I did add an edit to my post. 

 

After doing a bunch of research on it and seeing recent footage, it doesn't look bad, at least in terms of the current gen consoles. They seem to be taking aspects that were actually good from MW3 and putting them here, such as the different types of killstreaks (Specialist being my favorite) and the oh so awesome Infected mode. I actually pre-ordered this game after learning about that. Plus, they seem to be polishing some areas that finally needed it. I do realize that the game still isn't some huge revolution, but it really does look fun and that is what counts. The customization looks neat as well though I find the lack of custom emblems a bit disappointing. I think that is the case.

Heh, I just started playing CoD on PC. There's almost no one playing compared to how many do on consoles. :/ I'm a little worried about getting Ghosts for PC because of that. Will the community become so little after just a few months?

I'm being completely serious, the SC2010 is completely OP. It's a laser beam that can kill instantly.

 

I'm excited to play Cranked later today. Looks amazing.

 

Anyways, it looks like the foregrip works, so that's nice.
