New free signatures thread?

Hey, I know most signature designers are now acting independently, but I was wondering if there was any chance of a new signature database thread being started up in Creative Resources?

At the current time it's decided that the Free Signature and avatar thread's will remain locked and it doesn't appear that a new one will be made. But there is a high chance of something else that works much better taking the Free Sig/avatar thread's place some time if all goes well.

 

For now you just need to use the Request threads already stored in the Creation Resources Section.

Relying on individual artists to maintain their own request threads makes much more sense in the end - that way they can edit their own opening posts and thread titles depending on availability, and that sort of thing. It is too easy for centralized threads to fall into disuse, as was seen numerous times with the previously pinned threads.

We would have taken the time and effort to try and revitalize the threads that were closed and unpinned, if we were at all interested in maintaining any sort of singular request shops. As Zoop said, we've moved on to a new organizational approach entirely.
