Would you be shocked if Equestria was a real afterlife

Ok stay with me here. please forgive me too. I am pretty much drunk right now. My percocet isn't working so I'm drinking to stay calm. My mouth hurts like a son of a bitch for having both my wisdom teeth pulled out.

What if when you died. You go to the land of Equestria are reincarnated as a pony, pegasus or unicorn. I am just saying I'm an agnostic. I don't know if discussing religion is such a good idea. But I will try to keep it to a minimum and try not to offend anyone. All religions are stories created by other cultures. I am just saying what if you are on your death bed and when you are gone, you fade to black and all of a sudden a bright light comes and you live your new life as a pony. Honestly I can believe anything right now. Christianity states Jesus fed 12 people with one fish and one piece of bread. Scientologist believe that there souls were taken by aliens and Jehova's Witnesses believe only 5,000 or so people are only going to heaven. Just imagine this, a cartoon creator proved all religion wrong and in some anti climatic twist the after life is based on a tv show. Wouldn't that be the most SHOCKING thing ever in all of human existence?Again....I'm kind of not in a rational state of mind lol

With how surprising and unpredictable life is, who knows. For all I know I turn into a three headed banana-monkey overlord when I kick the bucket. Can't be any more surprising than the sheer amount of greed in the world, can it? I am personally completely against religion, because my mind is based on logic. Counting that, I'd say it would be at least mildly shocking to find out there was an after life at all. Once you reach eternal life though, there's not a whole lot you wouldn't believe, so it wouldn't be such a shocker to end up in Equestria.

OP, I have a question, if you died in Equestria where would you go?

SUICIDE BY STAB

For serious, now. I am quite fine with my current life. I mean, I guess it would be very surprising to discover this, but I wouldn't want to suddenly stab myself as soon as I heard it, because I might regret it later on. I would just wait for old age.

It'd be interesting, and somewhat surprising - but I'd not be overly shocked.

I'd be ecstatic, mind you. But seeing as I have not a single clue about what is in the afterlife(I do hope there is some sort of afterlife), I would be just as shocked as if it were anything else it could be. Maybe, it's a place of perpetual dreaming, where everything I have ever been exposed to, or thought, was at my whim to create.
Then my afterlife would become Equestria. With Pokemon.

...and giant robots.

Well for all we know the afterlife could end at Equestria. If you die in Equestria you go to pony heaven. But when you die as a human you don't keep your memories. My friend made some asinine theory that Lauren Faust meant to make Equestria an afterlife for dead children. He's just copying creepypasta's story

You mean that story where apparently the Mane 6 is based out of six deceased little girls?

I saw that one.

By the way, I would probably get shocked if I found out that I'm there when I die.

Anything would be shocking to me really, I mean I'm religious so I would mainly believe that I would either go to heaven or hell, (hopefully heaven x) ). But it could really be anything, no one has ever died and come back to life and described what it was like or where they think they went.

The Afterlife really is one of the biggest mysteries that only you can find out, it could even be different for everyone.

Well, now that I think of it.. What is heaven really, isn't it just that perfect place we believe we will end up in when we die. We all have different definition of how the after-life will be. Maybe it's just like Equestria, if that is how you picture the after-life then maybe it will.

For me, the perfect after-life would be a huge race track or just the whole world, with all the sport cars, helicopter and jets that have ever been created. I would have endless gasoline and I could just drive forever. That is my type of perfect after-life. Although, why not score both.. The perfect after-life, Equestria and a bunch of sport cars, helicopters, jets and more vehicles.

So honestly I wouldn't be shocked at all.

Yes, I would be very shocked. First at the fact that there is an afterlife to begin with, as absolutely nothing points toward there being one. And second that it is something that humans imagined. At that point I'd have to assume I'm in some kind of coma state and having a dream (if that's possible in a coma? I don't really know that much about comas) because it's just way too out there to be real.

This really is the type of thread that only makes sense when you make it when you're drunk. Anyone would be shocked if they became a cartoon pony if they died, especially the 99.5% of people who aren't bronies.

Nope. I really wouldn't be shocked if Equestria was where I'd end up after death. Here's why.

As a christian (though not overly fanatic) I do believe there to be heaven and hell, but to me the idea that christianity paints on heaven or paradise sounds a bit too vague. Christianity states that in paradise there is no pain or sorrow and all is well for all of eternity. I've never heard any actual description of what this paradise actually looks like, and I don't think it's ever discribed in the Bible (I might be wrong on that though, since I've never read the Big Book cover to cover :P)

Another thing I've always wondered is if this paradise is the same for everyone? That too sounds a bit strange to me, because there isn't one thing that makes everyone happy. People like different things, and something that makes one person extremely happy, might be a horrible thing to someone else. So instead of believing that it's the same for everyone, I like to believe that paradise is individual. It's something that our own likes and dislikes make for us when we pass on. That's why it can never be the exact same for two people.

I think that for many people (myself included) Equestria would be an ideal paradise :D I sincerely hope that I'm right, and that my afterlife will have many pastel-colored ponies in it XD

Well yes and no. In one way I would be shocked that everything wasn't just a black and that I still had the ability to think, but in another way I would of half saw something like that coming.

While I am accepting and rather comfortable with simply fading into the void, I like to imagine sometimes that the afterlife is just a never ending lucid dream. Scientifically it makes no sense, but I would prefer this idea much more over there being just one paradise, one "perfect" place for every human being. A dream can be perfectly tailored to the individual in every way and thus, truly be a perfect place.

I'm still waiting for either the void or Cthulhu to get out of bed, but I would be very happy if Equestria was the afterlife.

Meh, it's just as plausible as there actually being an afterlife to begin with. Who's to say your own afterlife is whatever you wan to make it?

I don't believe in this sort of stuff, but I have to admit it would be a pleasant surprise.

Although I'm a Catholic, I believe heaven is tailored to not just one of the individual's desires. It could morph itself to become whatever the individual wishes for. By default, Equestria is automatically included as one of my desired paradises, and I would be delighted to be in that little corner of my heaven. Alternatively I theorise that heaven is a sort of plaza: the stereotypical gathering of clouds, golden gates, angels, a stairway to God's and Jesus's personal quarters and my own heaven mansion in the middle, with different corners representing our desired corners of heaven. Again by default Equestria would take up one of those corners, and it would be one of my most frequented. After all, it would be too easy to make friends and socialise there, considering my personality. For now however, I am 18 and I am still living life to the fullest.

"One life for yourself and one for your dreams."

How I would like to believe that sentence, because in that case after my life ends, my life would then begin in Equestria (or maybe in another world).

Would I be shocked if Equestria was real? Not in the slightest. But then again, if you don't believe anything then I'm pretty sure Celestia would keep you here until you learn how much she and Luna love you. Time will tell.
