People love to hate, nothing more to it then that. Humankind can't seems to accept different tastes or interests for others to take, and want everyone to act a certain way or like a certain thing. If they don't, they attack them verbally which is sad and pathetic. Humankind is in shambles

 

Me personally i dislike the interests of furries and cloppers, but it's none of my business, I'm not gonna be offended by someone else's opinions, since it has no impact on me whatsoever.

 

However people who shove it down your throat are stupid and annoying, but I'm not gonna generalize all furries to be like those, as it almost makes me a hypocrite considering I am a brony.

see, I'd like to know why people like to talk about masterbaiting to the public in gereral is okay. I mean, why would anyone want to know what people do in their free time? why do people feel the need to talk about something that should be private and talk about it? it just doesn't make sense to me. The whole concept of furri-ism gives me a bad feeling/vibe that I can't really explain. This is the sole reason for me not wanting to accept it when I see it.

I completely understand, i dislike the idea of furrism too, but I try to ignore it and let them be. When i first heard about what furries were when I was a kid I was disgusted and thought that furries were complete weirdos. However i grew out of it, realizing it's none of my business to judge, especially since I have met a few furries in real life and they seems like completely normal, friendly people

Well I see furries as one of four categories

 

1. The spiritual furries...the one who feel one with their animal. Sometimes furries think that animal is part of them or vice cersa. This is where I fit in

 

2. The furry fans. They love the art or the lifestyle and generally enjoy the fandom

 

3. The furries who dig the porn. There definately are these folks around. they like anthro or total furre porn. I don't really have any ill-will towards them. They like what they like

 

4. Then there are the fakers...you ever seen those pictures where there is some cute girl with an xbox controller and she claims to be a 'gamer girl'? Yeah this is what I feel about the fakers in the furrie community. They give us a bad name. They are like "ZOMG I want to be a tiger!"

 

What I hate is when people think all furries are type 3. The problem is I can't blame those people...because some of the type 3 are the loudest and most boisterous. It would be nice if people could see what furries really can be

It's sort of an internet rule, I suppose. I personally don't hate furries, but hey. What's a guy gonna do -- tell people it messed up? Alright, it's a little messed up. Not the furry people themselves, but the stuff that comes from the furry artists... you know... the twisted shit.

Oh I never felt offended or anything. I was just saying that their a lot of groups of furries in the fandom.

Because they can. Furries are deviating from majority of society, just like bronies, and therefore, just like bronies, an easy target.

People don't care about whatever is the deviation bad for the society in any way, the mere existence of deviation is an excuse, because they are going to get more support from rest of society for hating deviants than for hating someone who is just regular man without such deviation. If they hated someone who is ,,normal", there would be this problem with other ,,normal" people thinking : Hey, that guy's hatin' someone who's just like me, he shouldn't do that !. When they hate someone who is ,,not normal", the problem gets smaller, because there will be minority of people who will empathize with the hated...

Basically, I don't mind furries (well, naked ones creep me out...), but the reason that people hate them is probably one of the following:

 

~One, they probably think they are inappropriate or whatever

 

~The combination of humans and animals may not appeal to them

 

Those are probably the main reasons why. I don't mind furries as long as they don't rub them in my face and bother me with them. If they want to draw furries, then let 'em be.

Being a furry myself, i find this video to be quite funny.

I don't mind videos like this, mainly because shows like this makes fun of everything. And when they make fun out of something they don't want any people to get their feelings hurt but they want them to smile and laugh at it.

I don't know if I'm a furry, I comment on images of animals that are like people, in that they're humanized (there's a word for that, but I can't remember it), and I interact with the community, I don't cosplay, or draw, but I like the style and the art, I've seen a few rule 34 drawings (damn bitly, how could I know what it was?) and I wasn't aroused by them, despite that I know a good chunk of people who are and I don't hold them against them, they are free do to as they will

 

As for the reason they hate?, I assume people think that furries are just sick people who lay down with animals and pratice bestiality, as well as they just find it wrong, it's just human nature to hate on those who're different than us

People hate what they can't understand its sad but that's the way it is, what is also sad is that since there is so much judging now a days (more focused on sexually)any kid/adult that's not straight or is into something a bit kinky is so harshly judged and stamped freak for the rest of there life, and I guess that's one of the many reasons I love this show because at the end of the day it is about love and tolerance, and I have spread the belief for some time and I love how this show has shown boys/girls how to show love and tolerant one another,but I have a good feeling there will be a time were any sexually race gender will be tolerated and loved

A girl with cat ears, I do think is cute, and fine.

But a girl who has fur on her body, a tail and ears?

That's a bit odd to me, because, well, why would you even want anyone to look like that?

Animals are animals, humans are humans, and I don't think they should be mixed.

To me, it reminds me too much of bestiality, especially when they are drawn sexually.

We are very much different from them.

We are more advanced, we can use more of our bodies, we have different thinking patterns, there are a lot of differences.

It just freaks me out, personally.
