"Well reason why we wear clothing, because it the law, if you nude out on public place or streets then the law will arrest you for nakedness so we have to wear clothing out on streets and public places. But you can be naked in your home but not outside because kids are out there too and there parents don't want to see that." Charles saying. "Sure I am heading to a clothing store anyway and they got clothing too so I will buy you any woman's clothing you want."

 

Rarity looked pleased at that. "I'd love that," she said. "Just as long as the clothes are stylish. I am, if I say so myself, a pony of style. I could also do with a comb to sort my mane out; I tried to use these," she held up her fingers, "But it didn't do it properly. It's strange having these instead of hooves. I normally use magic to brush my mane."

Twilight Sparkle followed Logan into the house.

"Wow," she remarked, mesmerized, "It almost reminds me of the houses back at Ponyville!"

Seeing the television set, Twilight became even more mesmerized.

"Wow, what is this thing? This box with this glass on it!"

Ulysses made a beeline for the couch, hopping up an lying himself down once more.

 

Logan held the door to his home open for, Twilight, hutting it after she was inside. He took his jacket off as he entered his home, revealing the previously concealed pistol in his rib holster, as well as his lightly tattooed arms. He hung the jacket on a nearby coat rack and took his cell phone from his pocket, smiling slightly as Twilight commented on his home, "I'll take that as a compliment."

 

He said, rapidly typing a group message to his friends as he walked over to her. He put the phone back in his pocket as she asked what the TV was, seeming very fascinated by it, "That's the TV. Here," he reached back and took the remote from the coffee table, handing it to her with a small smile, "Try it."

 

Logan stepped back, taking his phone from his pocket once again and quickly entered a number and brought it up to his ear, "Osiyo, Chief, it's Kieffer. I'm just calling to let you know that I'll be taking the next few days off if possible, I've got a friend visiting from out of town. Anyway, do na da' go hv i."

 

Logan hung up and turned back to Twilight, watching her for a few minutes before saying, "You're free to stay here while you're in this world. I can give you a little tour just to show you where all the basics are if you like."

Red Talon took the seat next to Catherine, and the trolley took off. As they were riding, Jack felt a buzz in his pocket. Removing his phone, he received a message that the meeting has been pushed to tomorrow.

"Well," Jack chuckled, "looks like the meeting I was rushing off to was called off and moved to tomorrow! Now that I've seen most of the city, there's really not a whole lot left to do or see around here."

Twilight, while amazed at how the TV was producing images and sounds, wondered if there was any reading material around.

"Now that I'm thinking of it, do you have a library or something? I'd love to learn more about this world and its denizens."

Jack kind of figured that AJ was on the shy side, and was completely unaware of the fact that she was from a different universe. When Jack was handed his phone back, he saw "Cat <3" written as a new contact.

Logan watched her using the TV for a few minutes. He found her curiosity cutely amusing. He chuckles as she agrees to the tour, "Can't argue with that logic."

 

Turning around, he motions for him to follow, "So you're a book person then? I always preferred a good book to TV. I really only own one to keep up with the local news. Nothing ever beat a good and the outdoors growing up." He starts towards the nearest hallway, "I'll end the tour in the study, that's where I keep the books." He points off to his left, "There's the kitchen and dining room. Feel free to get anything to eat, though unless you know how to work an oven I'd appreciate it if you got me to help you," He points beyond the the couch, "We're in the secondary living room here, straight ahead is the main living room and deck."

 

He enters the hallway, which only leads to stairs. On either wall were various pictures depicting what could only be a younger Logan and his family, depicting his life from younger years up to present time. Some more recent ones show him with who is obviously a younger Ulysses, from him being an adorable little puppy to the well muscled adult he is now.

Logan gestures down two other hallways, "Down the left there is my room on the end, and another restroom part way along. To the right is the guest bedroom, which will be serving as your personal quarters while you're here. And directly ahead here is the study," He steps into the bright room. There is a desk with a laptop on it on the right side next to a window. There are a few small bookshelves next to that. There is also a tall metal safe about the same height as Logan. On the left there is simply bookshelves, as well as an armchair to sit in while reading, near the window, "The books by the desk are works of fiction, mainly. Those over there on the left are mainly history, with a few other random books thrown in."

 

He walks and half leans/sits on the edge of the desk, placing his left hand on a large leather book, which he drummed his fingers on, "Those are the basics. There is a basement level to my home, but there's not much down there other than a gym and a work place. I was going to show you that, but I figured it wasn't important and that you'd much rather get right into the books." He smiled as he said this.

 

(OOC: And I just noticed an inconsistency. I said that Logan worked with Ulysses for 5 years as a police officer, except the problem is he is only 21, and most departments won't hire you unless you're 18, some only if you're 21. To remedy this I'll say that Logan's been working as a cop for four years (joined when he was 18) and he's owned Ulysses for the full five years the dog has been alive.)

Looking at the vast amount of books in the study, Twilight took down one of the encyclopedias and began reading more about humans. Human culture, society, government, all sorts of things that most of us would normally find common knowledge, Twilight found absolutely fascinating.

"I can't believe a man would try to eradicate an entire race of humans," Twilight said, aghast at an entry about Adolf Hitler. She looked around the room, and in the hallways, saw the pictures.

"I hope this doesn't bother you too much, but who are in those pictures you have hanging in the hallways?"
