I think that it's a really great premise for an episode. Every once in a while, a cartoon needs to be able to laugh at itself, and I think that FiM's time has finally come.

If anyone noticed in the magic kindergarten part, derpy was there, and she was derped eyed <3

 

She was Derp-eyed in that scene too? I thought it was only during one of the fight scenes.

 

Holy crap the animators must love us.

When celestia lifted the enchantment, dis you guys notice derpy and the mayor holding hooves? And after that the mayor was blushing? Thats a potential ship right there.

I think the Mayor was blushing because she knew that they all fought over the terrible doll :P

So Twilight's giving in to fear and anger and the glow of her magic is now red. So that's why Luna is coming to Ponyville dressed as a Jedi next episode, she has to fight Darth Twilight.

 

That day would go down in history as the best episode ever created in a show.

Big Macintosh was the best!

Twilight losing it was pretty priceless and Rainbow nuking the barn and Fluttershy "beating up" that bear were pretty intense too! :P

 

Overall, I loved the episode (not that I was expecting any less), especially the last act.

I loved the way BigMacintosh said "Nope!" and I kind of suspected he would love the doll even after the spell.

...

 

I don't have to ask but, did anyone else grin when they saw Rainbow Dash with the "Like a Boss" shades?!? B)
