I must admit, I am curious about what anypony think of my oc. Her name is Smiley Bookpony

Design: Kudos for actually creating a pony outside the normal body type. The black and purple stripes don't really work for me, I'd say either make it two shades of purple or black with one purple stripe. Glasses need to be a less obnoxious shade of green, cutiemak might look better with a brown binding. 5/10

Backstory: Needs fleshing out, what there is is okay. 5/10

Overall:5/10

 

Alright gimme some critics!

Design: Works well, I think the slight change to the colours in the first spoiler pic a huge improvement. The cutiemark looks a bit too simplistic, maybe add a yellow outnie to the bolt. 7/10

Backstory: Pretty good overall, I'd make him just a bit less of an prodigy and make the rescuestory into something less Lassie-ish. 7/10

Either get rid of the watch or make put it on a chain around her neck. Make the coat a bit lighter.

Pelate Overcast

Design: Well It told you before that I think the design is solid, if not all that memorable. Cant say I'm a fan of the colourscheme though. The grey body would do a good job of emphasizing the cutiemark, but red and black or the mane...not really feeling it. I'd say try out  light blue, maybe with pens sticking in it to have the handy. 4/10

Backstory: Sorry, but this sounds like a bad Simple Plan song. 2/10

I'm curious as to how I did with one of mine

Design: The colourscheme works very well. Would look a lot better without the eggshaped head. The cutiemark seems a bit graphic , maybe replace it with an archery target or an eagle head, something representing precision. Possibly shift the eyecolour to gold/ember. 7/10

Backstory: Servicable, but maybe add what he and his dad are doing with all those fish... 6/10

Design: Interesting take on the mane/tail, but needs to be distributed on both sides of the head and somewhat simplified. Th the coatcolour is a bit too dark. 4/10
