I have searched high and low for this answer, but I still haven't found one and have no idea how to do it.  So how do you add/make a spoiler in a post?

It took me awhile to find it too.

 

Or you can just type in square bracket thingy directly. I don't know how to type it out without it triggering the action, otherwise I'd do it here.

It's actually rather simple. All you need to do is this:

[spoiler]This is a spoiler.[/spoiler]

This would be the result:

 

This is a spoiler.

 

 

Just make sure not to forget to "close" your spoiler by adding the "/" in the second spoiler tag.

 

You could also do this:

 

1. Click the "special bbcode" button in your editor (to the left of the font drop down list)
2. Select "spoiler" in the drop down list
3. Type out your spoiler
4. Hit OK

All it really does is add the spoiler tags at the beginning and ending of your text, anyway. It's pretty simple.

It's under 'Special BBCode' in the editor You choose 'spoiler' in the drop down list, copy paste what you want to have in the spoiler there and you're done.

There's two ways for you to add in a spoiler for something. The first is to simply tag an item with the following code - Just be sure to replace the { } with regular brackets [ ]

The second option is to select what you wish to spoil and click the SpecialBBCode button up top. Select the Spoiler option and it'll ask what you wish to give the spoiler code. If you have something highlighted it'll automatically have that as what you wish to spoil. If you don't, you can always copy/paste whatever you wish into the field to have spoil'd.

Put [spoiler ] in front of the spoiler, and [/spoiler ] after you've stated the spoiler.

 

No spaces, I just added those so you can see them.
