4. Any bands to recommend?

5.Why do you love pop punk?

My most favorite band is blink 182, favorite song is Story Of A Lonely Guy by blink 182.

My Favorite pop punk video Dammit by blink 182

I recommend to check out bands: Allister, Hit The Lights, Better Luck Next Time, Fenix Tx, MxPx, FM Static

I love pop punk because It makes me feel good, its not too heavy it also has nice melodies and lyrics that are easy to relate to.

Yeah, I do enjoy enjoy pop punk!

Problem is, I don't really know much music about them, but I will check out those recommendations you have listed!

I do know bowling for soup though!

Did you know that Jaret Reddick, one of the main guys for bowling for soup, was the main singer and performer for sonic unleashed's main theme: Endless possibilities?

More of a classic rock guy myself, but I do like Blink 182.  I don't know exactly what else would classify for pop punk, but my favorite song has to be Stay Together For The Kids or I Miss You, both by that band.  Bowling for soup is just hilarious to me, with great songs like "1985".  Yeah, I really don't watch too many music videos so I can't say my favorite, but I like the genre because it feels really energetic and cool; not caring all too much.

Yellowcard's last album (Southern Air) is one of my favourite albums ever. Awesome album!

I was never really into them until I saw them supporting All Time Low in 2011, but I was blown away by them. I checked out their older stuff after that and they became one of my favourite bands.

Is anyone into Mayday Parade?

Should this just be a Wonder Years thread? I feel like they are great enough to warrant their own thread.

"The casino seemed like a bad idea but Denny's seemed like a worse one,

and I don't think that we'd ever let that stop us!

We ended up busted, broken and choking down a Grand Slam!

I can't think of a better way for the night to end!"

That verse basically describes my 19th birthday party exactly.

I like the SoCal sound (you don't have to be from Southern California to be SoCal, in my opinion). It's not technically pop punk but the similarities are there: Driving snare drum, major chords, often funny lyrics. My favourites are Guttermouth and Chixdiggit. Chixdiggit is actually from Canada. XD

Jamie All Over is one of my favourites...maybe also check out When I Get Home You're So Dead, A Shot Across The Bow and When You See My Friends

Forever The Sickest Kids are probably my favourite band right now...they're more on the "pop" side of things, but you might still be interested...

Maybe also check out Shut The Front Door and Keep On Bringing Me Down. :)

1.Favorite pop punk band?

2.Favorite pop punk song?

3.Favorite pop punk music video?

4. Any bands to recommend?

5.Why do you love pop punk?

1.I don't have a favorite, but some pop punk bands I like include Fall Out Boy, The All-American Rejects, The Starting Line, Cartel, Saves the Day, Sherwood, The Academy Is..., The Ataris, blink-182, Box Car Racer, Acceptance, Say Anything, and The Format. I'm sure I forgot some, but those are definitely some pop punk bands I enjoy listening to. Also, I don't know if every single one of those bands I mentioned is considered pop punk, so yeah.

2. Don't have an absolute favorite, but here are some tracks I love:

Saturday, Dead on Arrival - Fall Out Boy

She Doesn't Get It, Dog Problems, The First Single - The Format

Bedroom Talk - The Starting Line

Teasing to Please (Left Side, Strong Side) - Cute Is What We Aim For

The Boys of Summer - The Ataris

Losing Control, Anything Is Possible - This Providence

The Letter, So Contagious - Acceptance

I Loved the Way She Said L.A., Those Days You Felt Alive - Spitalfield

3.Don't really watch music videos, so I wouldn't know.

4. Any of the bands I mentioned.

5. It's enjoyable to listen to, especially in your adolescent years since the songs usually have to do with teenage feelings (very relatable).

Oh God I forgot Fall Out Boy. YES.

My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark = epic song even though it was bordering on 30 Seconds to Mars for me. :P

Paramore, possibly? I dunno, I just thought of that when you said "female".

And no, do not reference that horrible song she did with B.o.B.. I hate that song.

Oh my goodness, I used to love Pop Punk when I was around the age of 7-12, yep my really young years were grown up with Pop Punk, to say it I think I still have Blink-182's greatest hits album laying around somewhere in my room for the heck of it. I guess I've turned my head big time over to Hardcore Punk. Some of the other bands I grew up with are Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, Fall Out Boy, Fenix TX (I only ever listened to Threesome though), Green Day, No Doubt, Yellowcard, The All-American Rejects (they were my favorite band for the longest time...all dat nostalgia I'm getting), Motion City Soundtrack (Don't know if they count), and Simple Plan.

Did anyone see Blink 182 on tour a couple of years ago? During the encore they did the coolest thing with the drums but I won't spoil it in case they are still doing it and you haven't seen it yet.
