I'd rather go with Bay...I mean Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer would just make terrible jokes and I would fall asleep. At least Bay would piss bronies off , but in a good way

 Ummm... what is this doing in Show Discussion?  For the record, I guess I'd pick Bay, but you didn't exactly make it much of a choice.  For one, what are we picking them for?  Also, both sets of directors, although horrible, don't exactly direct similar genres, so it's a strange comparison we're being asked to make.  It's like asking if I'd pick between renowned anime director Hayao Miyazaki or Steven Spielberg.  Just saying.

Not much of a choice, as neither of them would really be any good for MLP.

 

But Bay would be the lesser of two evils, though, as he's actually made movies that I've enjoyed (Bad Boys, The Rock, the first Transformers) and at the very least, everything would *look* badass, even though there would be zero character development with a  bunch of two dimensional stereotypes.  I imagine lots of slo-mo shots of a very lustful looking Rarity galloping away from a giant explosion while whipping her hair around.  With a reaction of course from a jive talkin', rappin' Zecora. 

 

That, sadly, is *still* less insulting than anything Friedberg and Seltzer would come up with.
