Embarrassing Brony Moments!

We all have them, so let them out to dry! I'll go ahead and start off with mine.

I am in the army, and sometimes we have to undergo area/ work inspections in order to keep the standard of cleanliness up to par. This usually involves checking rooms, cleaning our offices and equipment, and generally making the entire base smell like bleach.

I was wearing this shirt (see image below) under my uniform and I completely forgot. Without thinking, I removed my top and started cleaning rifles on a desk. The company commander walked in behind me and over my shoulder I heard the phrase "Soldier, welcome to the herd." I kind of laughed, then I realized what had happened. I quickly put my top back on, but now I guess I'm out of the barn, as it were.

Lol, that's not embarrassing, that's awesome! Most of us would kill for that kind of acceptance from our bosses, and you got it from your commanding officer.

Personally, I've never really had one of those moments, but I was more than a little surprised when my econ professor told me I could write my S&D paper on MLP.

Once on the train I had the mlp theme song as my ring tone and well someone called me and my phone was like

MY LITTLE PONYYYY MY LITTLE PONY AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH...!

And of course everyone looked at me.

Oh and of course, when my mother discovered that I liked MLP

I was watching an episode with headphones and suddenly she walked into my room without me knowing.

Then she said something I don't remember, I looked at her and her face was like "what the hell is wrong with my kid?"

new thing... 3 words:

mom saw clop

;_;

So was he a brony before or after?

"Privet Derpy is now the company mascot"

I would say mine came when my sister *while innocently using my computer* found my Luna pictures. Not much was said other then "OMG. get a life"

Why did you name this thread "Embarrassing Brony Moments"? This thread should rather be called the "Awesome Brony Moments" or something like that.

Anyway, I can't really recall any embarrassing brony moments I've had before.

Wow, that story made me laugh.

As for me, well, I don't really have anything like that that's happened to me. But, through my terrible luck, I'm betting I'll have an embarrassing moment here to share in like a week. :P

It went a little like this.

"155VCRAMBO to all stations. My Call sign is changing to Romeo Dash."

".......Base to Rambo, You're not turning your Call sign to Dash because you haven't authorised it, corporal, And Bronies are Gay"

"Romeo Dash to Base, Look behind you"

I then shot the base transmitter with the rubber round and fled like crazy..

..only to be caught by the other team

Don't be a Brony in the forces if you're gonna do that! :D

I was very drunk one night and I told my friend that I like really like MLP FIM Ponies. And I mean really like Ponies, if you know what I mean.

Good thing, he didn't take it bad, even though isn't a Brony, he knows that the Ponies from MLP FIM are sapient, therefore he doesn't care.

@@MilBrony Right there with you man, We hadn't had a barracks inspection in several months so I figured it would be safe to hand a poster I bought from another member on here in my room and lone behold, next day a surprise Room Inspection by the CSM. Needless to say, he was not very thrilled or amused.

In school we have diaries that we record homework in and stuff, and recently I'd filled in the notes section at the back with drawings of... You guessed it, ponies. I needed my head of year to sign it for a hospital appointment, and he flicked to the back, and just stared at them like '0.0'

He didn't give me detention though, which was good, but still embarrassing!

I had it worse.....I was in class when someone called my phone. Normally I have it on vibrate or silent, but I forgot to turn it off one day. So suddenly my ringtone goes off and everyone hears WINTER WRAP UP, WINTER WRAP UUUUPPP!

I swear my face went red when everyone looked at me weirdly and when class was over I quickly ran out.

Okay, this was one of the most embarassing moments ever! So, this past semester, I was in Math and Music class. What I didn't know what that I forgot to mute my phone. So while my teacher was in middle of a sentence. I get a text, my phone goes off and says "W-W That was supposed to make you writhe in agony!". I was sweating like crazy. Everyone was looking at me.

Well, I don't know whether to call this moment embarrassing or not, but...

I was talking to one of my professors about World of Warcraft, and I had my laptop next to me. I had this as a wallpaper:

Awesome_Dash.png

I didn't realize that I was on the desktop, but while we were talking, he was staring at my desktop screen. I dunno if he knew what it was, but he didn't mention it to me or anything, we just kept talking. I felt really embarrassed the whole time cause I felt like he might bring it up, but he never did, so I was safe for that day.

Another embarrassing but actually good thing happened to me about three months ago...

Ever since I came to college, I have made it a habit of "vandalizing", as one might call it, the school white boards with drawings of ponies. Every day I would come in before the students or professors and pick a random classroom and draw a pony on the board. Some days it would be Pinkie wishing the class good luck on exams, or Rainbow Dash saying the whole class was "Too cool for mule". I had gained some infamy around campus, and had teachers and students talking about the pony drawings on the boards. Well about three months ago, I decided to draw Vinyl Scratch telling the class that she wubbed them on a board, and I picked a random classroom and started drawing her on the board.

I was almost done when suddenly I heard someone ask me what I was drawing from the doorway, and I turn around and there's a girl in a Perry the Platypus hoodie staring at me with some books in her hand. Nervously, I quickly erase Vinyl and say "Nothing...". At first she looks at me with a suspicious look on her face, but then her face lights up and a smile comes across her face and she says "Oh my God, you're the pony guy!" And then I'm all like "Yeah, it's me...", throwing my arms up defeat at the same time. She said that her and her and teacher have been trying to figure out who it was for the longest time, as they both love My Little Pony and enjoyed seeing the drawings around the school. I said that was awesome but that I had to get to class, and I vacated the room lickety split.

Even though she was apparently a Brony too, I felt so embarrassed and caught. I eventually worked up the nerve to go find her after class and we became really good friends, and my nervousness melted away. I made her promise not to tell anypony about me being the "pony guy", and she promised not to.

So, even though that was super embarrassing, I managed to make a friend and keep my secret safe that day!

I can't say I've really had an embarrassing moment in reference to this.  I sort of realized a long time ago that I live 100 miles off the beaten path and sort of accept that.  All I can think of is that I had someone come over from AT&T because my uverse was not working correctly.  When he got the DVR box working again, the three things on the recordings list were My Little Pony, the Golden Girls, and WWE Monday Night RAW.  I grinned and told him I have very eclectic tastes.  I had to then explain to him what "eclectic" meant, so it may have been more embarrassing for him.

@Doc Ginger lol, awesome!

I wonder if MLP stuff is going to be put on the list for banned items in barracks??? If it does get on the list I'm going to Cover the whole company with posters! /]

I brought my laptop to school for a project and what not, and I had just bought a new case for it. It looked like a leather bound book from the company that makes Book Book if you know what that is.

Anyway my friend complimented me on the case and thought it was really cool. Not thinking I opened it up to show her the back of it, thus opening my laptop. Then *BAM* pony wallpaper for everyone to see. blink.png

Embarassing moments, eh?

Well, my computer is clogged with porn of all kinds, and this one time one of my classmates (I told him to stay out of my skype, my desktop, my downloads, my documents and my browsing history) accidentally stumbled onto my clop images. It was hilarious, actually. X3

Well, since I lost my sense of shame a long time ago I don't really have embarassing moments. I did have an akward moment one time when a colleague was asking about my laptop wallpaper (which is a human pinkamena including a bloody knife) and I had to explain it...

Doubt it since they cant offcially segregate against it. I just ended up getting voluntold to do allot more than my fair share when my being a brony first came out. Nowadays though I am getting my revenge just dues since I'm proving myself allot more apt medic than my peers and going to Ranger's in July :P brony kid kicked their asses!

I have interesting brony moments, but it is almost impossible for me to get embarrassed. Enough of that jazz, I have some stories to tell. smile.png (NOTE: I am in no way a closet brony)

1. I was in my local shopping complex when I saw a colored in drawing of Princess Cadence stuck to the window with the colors mixed up, but that didn't stop me from yelling "Princess Mia Mora Cadenza". I was not wearing any of my pony shirts so people didn't expect it. I then said "Sunshine Sunshine, lady bugs awake, clap your hooves and do a little shake." and then proceeded to do a quick shake of my rump. It was quite fun, and I got a couple stares, but again I could care less.

2. When I first became a brony I was in Walmart about to walk out with my Rarity, and Fluttershy figurines because I wanted some merchandise. I saw my dad's good friend who is a marine and he said hello. He then looked down and asked if those were for me. With a gulp I said yeah, and all I got out of him was a laugh and him saying "That's pretty gay dude". I told my dad and he got mad, but then soon got over it.

3. I was listening to "What my Cutie Mark is Telling Me" in my homeroom at the end of the day waiting for the buses to come, and my friend who knows I'm a brony and does not like it grabbed my headphones and asked what I was listening to. He put them over his ears when Pinkie was doing her southern accent bit and he just nodded in disapproval and gave them back with an expressionless look. I don't get why that made him so mad when I was wearing my Doctor Whooves shirt that day.

4. I was talking to a bunch of girls in homeroom with some of my friends and I had my Beats on the table behind me and my good friend decided to prank me and hit that button on the wire that plays your music. Out of nowhere I heard the MLP theme song come on at full blast and the entire room could hear it. I looked them in the eye and sang the very end before shutting it off at the beginning of DJ Alex S.'s Cutie Mark Crusaders remix.

5. I was at my family reunion back in July when my Uncle came up to me with all of his daughter's MLP toys and asked me to name them all. When I proceeded to name Cadence and Pinkie Pie he laughed and asked me to carry them back to his car. It was raining so I put them under my jacket and he made jokes about how it was because of my sexual attachment to the ponies. I couldn't help but laugh because some of the other things he said where pretty funny and they didn't bother me.

Once at a boy scout outing we were hainging out playing cards and we ended up going through all the ways you could say bro (broseph, brodude, brony) and then when we hear brony, complete silence, then a few seconds later, most of us start shouting out who is best pony (of course everyone says something different). That was probably the most awkward silence ever.

I'd have to say when I went to use my laptop in my school library and completely forgot that the FiM theme song was the login chime. Next was when I was caught looking up the IDW comics by my best friend. Both were really awkward moments.

Nothing majorly embarrassing has has happened to me yet, but I'm counting the days. It's a-comin'...

...Well, I guess if you count the fact that my lil' sis came into my room the other night, spotted a pony doodle on my desk and said "Seriously? You're drawing ponies now?" It was more funny than it was embarrassing, though.

...I hope you know, this officially makes you one of the coolest bronies in the history of FORRRREVVVVERRRRR.

Anyway, I wish I had the balls to do something that, let alone had the skills to draw on a whiteboard (I can barely even write on them, myself). Seriously, I'd take so long just getting the basic frame drawn that I'd probably turn around to see the prof and half the class staring at me awkwardly...

*Blushes and lowers pipe*

Why thank you, Lowline.

But it seriously just took practice. When I first started, I needed references of the ponies on my cell phone to draw them and I took forever so I'd have to come super early to get them done before anyone arrived, but then I started getting better and better and before I knew it, I was able to draw them in less than five minutes and write the message up there without a second thought.

As credit to you, though, the thought of me finishing up a drawing and then turning around to see the whole class staring at me is hilarious.

On a side note, I remember drawing Rainbow Dash with shades on in one classroom and the teacher left it up there the entire time he was teaching from what my friends told me. I thought that was a hoot.
