Normally I would regard this kind of topic as being being personal in nature, and I am opposed to sharing too much information, but what does "normal" have to do with anything? In the past I thought of clopping as being messed up, but never raised a fuss; it isn't my place to tell someone what to enjoy, provided it isn't doing harm. I like to think of myself as open-minded. Have I given it a fair try? Yes. Am I a clopper? No. Ponies just don't do it for me, the humanized and anthro stuff is okay, but in truth, I prefer human porn.

 

Gods, I never thought that I would need to specify species when talking about porn.

I have not clopped before, and i don't obviously consider myself a clopper.

 

I don't really feel comfortable about it exactly, but i tolerate it, basically while i may not like clopping exactly i am tolerable and am ok with cloppers themselves. If that makes any sense, hopefully i get my point across correctly there ;p.

 

I will be totally honest and say that out of pure curiosity i have read a Clopfic before, but i found it kind of odd ;p. Not really something for me. it was just a curiosity thing, because i'm one curious person ;p.

 

Curiosity is what got me into MLP ;p, so yeah.

 

Nothing against cloppers, i know people who are cloppers and they're still good and cool people, it just ain't something for me.

Well to be honest, they're actually really good when they have really good stories and are written really well. And I don't even really like reading lol

I'm sure some have better developed stories. I've read like 2 or something, one was just kinda senselessly clop stuff, and the other had a little more story basis, but the last half was mostly clop stuff.

 

The story part was ok, the clop stuff was meh for me, since it doesn't appeal to me as i said.

 

I guess like with all fanfics theres good and bad.

Yeah basically ;p. Maybe the late night is screwing up my common sense ;p. Oh well. Hehe. 

 

I've even read some fics that aren't direct clop fics that have more clopish sections to them, and the fics where good, although sometimes the random clop parts feel a bit forced, dunno ;p. 

 

On a random side note, i don't really like reading much either, i usually can only read like 30-45 minutes maybe max and then i start to space out to much to pay attention ;p. 

 

And another side note, i am a pretty crappy writer, so i kinda feel bad critiquing others writings really, when i couldn't do any better frankly.. ;p.

Lol yeah, it's hard for me to pay attention to reading unless the story is like super interesting lol. And yeah I'm a pretty crappy writer too xD

Nonetheless, this survey was...surprising.  A year ago people were still seriously debating whether cloppers could be accepted into the community; now an informal survey suggests that we who haven't clopped are in the minority?  I'm sure there was some inaccuracy in the survey, but it's still a sign that things are changing.  Not for the worse; I can understand and respect clop.  But it's strange to see the "dark side" of the fandom become more accepted and open as the fandom itself is becoming manestream.

 

That thing you linked doesn't surprised me, tho my personal reasons for finding FIM ponies attractive is because of their beauty and their physical similarity to humans, as in, they're general body shape is not vastly different from a human (a torso, a head, and 2 front and 2 hind limbs). I'm pretty much attracted to anything that vaguely resembles the form of a human woman. FIM ponies, combined with their beauty, are close enough.

 

Real horses are fugly tho.

 

And of course at this point, you've all realized I clop. It was a strange process, I started with thinking MLP FIM fans were weirdos, to being okay with them, to watching the show and becoming a fan, to learning of MLP rule 34 and thinking it was sick and the people who liked it were sick, to realizing they were normal human beings and it was perfectly okay since fim ponies are sentient/sapient beings, to becoming a clopper myself. Funny, ain't it?

I have had my share of fun while looking at R34..but I prefer to watch videos over look at picture and I haven't been able to find any of those so I'm not an all the time clopper just when ever I get an urge to do it :P

Say what you will, an ass is an ass...any way i have nothing against cloppers, being that i endulge myself. I won't even mention i clopped to my girlfriend...i don't talk about this often. Do I clop? Yes. To ponies, or MLP in general? Nope.

 

To be honest it frightens me just how many people there are on this forum are perfectly happy to admit they clop furiously to little cartoon ponies. Ruined teenagehood.
