Balto, hands down!

James Horner did an excellent job with the soundtrack for this animated classic (imo). For the last animated film he composed for, he gave a huge effort for it. If I ever get to meet James Horner himself in person, I would want to sincerely congratulate him for the hard work he's put into the soundtrack for this movie. He's had a huge impact in my life (yes, I also like the soundtrack he made for The Karate Kid).

Here are two of the best tracks:

Once Upon A Time In The West's soundtrack is perfection.

Not only is it beautiful and distinctive, but it's also very diverse. The first scene uses no instruments or dialogue, just sounds of the train station expertly crafted by the film's foley artists. Then when Charles Bronson shows up his famous harmonica theme is played and we get a brief acoustic rendition of the next song I'll mention.

The first full music piece in the film comes 15 or 20 minutes in and is the epic guitar and harmonica theme that is played twice more in the film, most notably during Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda's famous duel scene.

Then there's the remarkable composition for Claidia Cardinale's theme, featuring the blissful vocals of Edda Dell'Orso.

Last but not least is this simple, but impressionable theme for Jason Robard's character.

All in all this really is one of the greatest films ever made and one that has had a pivotal impact on me. Not only that, but it's such a stunning piece of art that I find myself tearing up while watching it.

Guardians of the Galaxy has an incredible soundtrack. I also like the soundtrack for 21 Jump Street.

Exorcist II has a credits song that I actually liked a lot, but I disliked most of the other music in that movie.

Antichrist (warning: NSFW) and Melancholia have pretty great scores too.

I don't have a favorite now, but I used to be obsessed with the soundtracks from the newest Chronicles of Narnia movies.

Definitely the Avengers Age of Ultron trailer 3 music. It's called Artifice, and it sounds absolutely epic, along with the main Avengers theme. But my favourite soundtrack is definitely the Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Volume 1! It contains some of the greatest hits and classics, the most recognisable now being Hooked in a Feeling, which is used in most, if not all of the trailers for the movie. A great soundtrack for the best movie ever :D just perfect!

Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman: The Movie, Far And Away (and pretty much everything John Williams has ever done, but with these at the top of the list).

The Hunt For Red October, Conan The Barbarian (Basil Poledouris).

Willow, Aliens (James Horner).

Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle (Joe Hisaishi).

Bambi, Snow White, Peter Pan, Dumbo (Frank Churchill)

The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast (Howard Ashman and Alan Menkin).

Usually anything by James Newton Howard is pretty much gold in my book, but how work for "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" really stands out for me. An almost perfect mix of adventure, wonder, culture, ancient, and other stuff...honestly, just listen to this. You really can't get much better than this. <3
