Hey guys, got a problem here, not a biggie and one that I've actually experienced in the past already a couple of times, but once again YouTube videos that I post on the site have not been displaying as videos themselves for the past few days for some inexplicable reason, and just showing up as a link instead.  If any of ya'll have any suggestions or solutions, I'd love to hear 'em!  Thanks guys, and have a great day. derpy_emoticon1.png

(edited)

This seems to happen a lot on the forums, actually.

Personally, I always use the "youtu.be/" link that you can find under the "share" page on the video.

Seems to work when the youtube.com/ links seem to not.

(Testing both links for the same video, now)

(Well it worked for me)

Also, another tip: when you link the youtube.com/ link, make sure to use the unlink button in the editor -- right next to the image button in your editor. When pasting the actual URL link, the "http" immediately turns the text into a link, which, that won't turn into a youtube video.

Let's see, I'll test the first solution out first.

And, testing your latter solution out right now.

Here's the basic outline for making sure it shows up as a video instead of a link:

- Only two videos are allowed per post, any others will show up as links.

- Make sure you have a format that ends in /watch?v=MYaDU78v_8A.

Anything else, like the examples below will appear as links.
