i'm not really sure what to critisize on this. looks all very good to me.

the only thing that stood out a little to me was on your derpy hooves drawing. i kept feeling the ear needed some shading too.. but that's about all i got :/

Well, ANY artist would benefit from drawing some studies.
In your case, I would study horse anatomy. You know, look up pictures of them in different positions and such, and then just draw rough sketches to get a hang of how the physique works in various situations et cetera.

Aaight, looks like you need R.D. to give it to you straight. I got this.

Your proportions are WAY off, but they look like they've gotten better. Copying stuff from the show and just drawing pony stick figures helped me a lot.

Second, they look really rigid. Like I said, do quickie gesture drawings, a lot of 'em. And I think you need to know your program (whatever it is) better, for that, find tutorials. I tried paint tool SAI, and I couldn't draw with it either.

Other than that... Your OC is cool, but I think the eyes and the cutie mark should match.

Hello there! Foxx here to critique your work! (Um, that is if you don't mind...)Okay so first off, your linework is a little messy. I am not familiar with sketchbook, but I presume it has a stabilizer. If so, make use of it! In your attempts to make lifelike hair, you have approached it wrong. Take a look at this guide on the reddit drawing school LinkIt basically explains how to indicate hair without drawing every strand. As said before the limbs do look very stiff. I see great potential in you though, so do not get discouraged!

Stay Foxxy

Pretty solid work right here. A few anatomy problems here and there, but I can see you're gaining a good grasp of angles(something I still have issues with). I would suggest staying away from harsh and fluro colours. Ponies are generally much more of a pastel tone, even when it comes to mane and tails. If you have to squint to see past the blinding light, it's too harsh of a colour. It's better to keep those colours for lighting and light-emitting objects.
Backgrounds are also a great thing to get into, as they can really make your pony pop out, or fit more into a scene.
Overall, very great job. Keep at it, I think you'll have things down pat in no time. :P

Hello again... I'm back from super hiatus!

It has been 3 years since I started this topic.

So I'm here to show you the result of your critiques.

I got interested in traditional art and kinda left out the digital art. But I still use photoshop to fix some color.

Mostly, I colored my drawings with watercolors now.

And inks too.

Checked it all out on my deviantart page ^_^

Oh yeah, thank you guys, thanks for the critiques.
