Sweet Apple Massacre. Imagine Cupcakes (an already terrible creepypasta) with even more cliché creepypastas elements and inappropriate crap, and you get this P.O.S.

 

In fact, you know what? Pretty much any MLP Creepypasta is atrocious. Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, Lil' Miss Rarity.. you name it. It's pretty much just the same thing, a pony killing another pony.

 

Also, never saw the hype about My Little Dashie. That story isn't even CLOSE to being sad..

I wrote the worst fanfiction ever. It was never published, and it was intended to suck, though. I wrote it to help me be able to read fanfictions that suck. It was about how Pinkie Pie found the Mane six were all related. 

 

The worst fanfiction I read so far was a Rarity fanfiction where she went to an orphanage. I don't remember the name. It bored me to death.

 

Most of the fanfictions I read are Rarity fanfictions, though.

It was so bad FIMfiction had to nuke the comments section THREE TIMES because of all the flak it was getting. The third time they just gave up and made the story link-only. You can't even find it in a search. It used to be completely incoherent, but when some beta editing made it readable, it was revealed to be offensive and trollish as well.

 

I took it down in an epic review a few months ago after my friends all begged me to read it.

A wish fulfillment fantasy for misanthropes that want all humans killed by cartoon ponies.  Stories where humans are the Designated Villains and are portrayed as 'evil' for fighting against the ponies, that wish their entire species turned into ponies mind controlled smiling happy freaks known as newfoals.

 

And yet, the ponies are the Designated Heros?

 

Granted, not all of its spin offs are like that, but many of them are indeed like that.

What are the worst Mlp fan fics out there? I'm thinking of reading some and I really don't want to run into piece of shit fan fics

 

Look for fimfics RECOMMENDATIONS on this site (and there are already PLENTY of LONG threads with good suggestions). Asking for fics to avoid is encouraging people to troll other people's work and encourage negativity, some things we really don't need. Also that thumbs up / thumbs down ration on any story can be important and you should always fimfiction itself as a tool rather than one person's opinion.  

 

That said i hated Twilight's Dollhouse but liked the author's prior work and that had a large following and few downratings despite its poor storytelling. Best thing to do is if a story starts bad ,and stays bad, don't ride it out in hope that it will turn around.

Read a few of those but i gotta say the worst one i read was Fallout: Equestria. Have a post-apocalyptic event in MLP is dumb as hell. I can understand villains destroying but something involving a "human mistake" (and by that i mean outbreaks of deadly diseases, radioactive weaponry), is just no-no.

 

I may echo that the overall plot and theme is what keeps me from reading that one (AND THE LENGTH) but by god if that isn't a popular story. Pretty weird to see this lumped in a worst category when its one of the most popular / famous fics.

There was this one on FimFiction called But I just, Wait What!!! (sic) It's been taken down, but I downloaded it beforehand.

 

My friend showed it to me over Skype, and we couldn't stop laughing because of how bad it was.

 

We actually left our opinion of it in the comments, and the uploader took it down because he couldn't handle the criticism.

 

The basic plot-line (at least, what I could scrap from it) is of someone bullying a friend of the main protagonist, Jack, who apparently likes metal, harps and Johnny Cash. He is then hit with a shoe, and is then shot with a shotgun.

 

Jack is put in some cage with no explanation as to why, then gets confronted by Chrysalis. He somehow escapes the cage (either that, or he fell back in the cage, who knows at this point...) and walks towards the exit.

 

What happens next is anyone's guess, as the story got taken down before he could make a second chapter.

I read a short clopfic called Apple Juice once that was my least favorite. Let's just say that for a while I would cringe anytime I heard the word apple juice, and since I work in a restaurant it happens more often than you might think.

Just hearing the name makes me queasy... I hate clopfics (or anything clop) with a vengeance. Not to say I'll hate you just because you clop, but If you utter a word in the name of clop around me ...

The Conversion Bureau and Cupcakes usually receive negative reception among our fandom. Personally I don't like the former, and the latter became a well elaborate Pinkie-redeeming epic story thanks to the Cupcake Chronicles; it was a separate story that really went in-depth with the Cupcakes universe.

 

My personal dislikes were Cherrilee's Garden and the Pony Centipede... *shudders*

It is really hard to say, most of the fics suck, making a good fanfic isn't easy, so i don't know what's the worst fic. Now, about the "famous" fics, Cupcakes is the worst.

I would say that a really bad fic has to have at least one of the following:

 

1. A Mary Sue/Gary Stu.

2. Gratituous clop.

3. Either zero plot whatsoever, a plot with more holes than swiss cheese, or a story that exists purely to serve the Sue/Stu.

4. Mane characters dying a horrible death/being tortured/raped just cuz the author hates them.

5. Canon characters played so out of character, you want to track the author down and stab them in the eye.

 

And if it has all five... then it's a TERRIBLE fic that needs to die. O_o

The Life Of Death (by Nightmare Darkness) falls into the same trap as the Final Destination movies: The setting is just too bleak for you to stay invested.

 

Specifically, there's one scene where a drafted soldier dies and goes to Hell for killing... but only in self-defense and defense of his country, not to mention how being a draftee basically gave him no choice in the matter.

 

 

Better walk on eggshells in this setting, kids; you never know when you'll make the slightest mistake that'll screw you over for eternity.

Aside from (in)famous fics like Cupcakes, Cheerilee's Garden, Sweet Apple Massacre, My Little Dashie, etc., I'd say any with characters deliberately OoC or killed/tortured just out of author bias, or anything that's just wish fulfillment

I don't particularly like human in Equestria fics either. Just come off as a bit...lame...to me.

Yeah, there are WAY too many bad clopfics around. Most of them are just writen porn, instead of a sweet and meaningful experience. That's why I only read high quality mature fictions.
