I don't read stories on Fimfiction where the dislikes outnumber the likes, so I haven't really read any bad stories so far. Only top quality ones. 

 

However, here are some that I will NEVER read:

 

• Cupcakes
• Rainbow Factory
• Lil miss Rarity
• Futa clopfics
• gory stuff
• Mary Sue stories

I don't read many Fanfictions, so for me the worst are Cupcakes and one Polish fanfiction with bad gramar, story and everything and this fanfic has only prologue.

Anything with a "Herd," mostly because of this:

 

Exposition: "Herding isn't uncommon here in Equestria."

 

Story: *Only shows the OC in a Herd.*

 

Show, don't tell, story; otherwise, it just looks like a lazy excuse to have a wish-fulfillment harem.

The worst ones have to be:

-Cupcakes (The thing I hate about Cupcakes is how gory, messed up, and it makes Pinkie Pie so out of character, since everyone knows she'd never do a thing like that. But, what I hate the most is that there are some people that actually hate on Pinkie Pie just because of the fan fiction, even though it's a FANFICTION, meaning it's NOT CANON. Plus, whoever wrote Cupcakes probably is really messed up in the head, if you know what I'm saying.)

-Rainbow Factory

-Any fanfiction with gore, Mary Sue "like" stories, or any fanfictions like My Little Dashie

-Also, anything that has to do with the Mane 6 having children

-Or any fanfiction with bad grammar, bad plot, having a lot of characters that are out of character, and stories that tend to be very vague, with little information, or too much information.

-Oh, and clopfics.

-Fanfictions with humans going to Equestria, people getting turned into ponies, etc.

I also hate stories that, generally, are pretty bad overall.

Well, I tend to avoid many fanfics with the following characteristics:

-Clops

-Futa (Just, ugh)

-Slashfics (Not against homosexuality, but that doesn't mean I'll watch gay porn because of it) 

-Character adopting an OC, specially if said character is a human child (Usually an uber mary sue)

-Senseless gore

-A Ron the Death Eater trope filled trope without being justified 

-OC centered stories

-Mane6 children

-Human in Equestria and vise versa 

-OUR human world meets Equestria (Conversion Bureau, nuff said)

 

I usually avoid stories with the above content because chances are, they suck. Ironically, most of my favorite stories has at least one of those elements. Well, maybe because they are Good among the bad XD

My Fanfic " Pinkie Pie and the Flesh Eaters " was voted on the German Forum as one of the most horrible Fanfics ever. 

 

I got so many negative Reviews, that i simply deleted it, so dont worry, nobody ever has to read it or look at it.

I dont even have the Story anymore myself.

The worst I have ever read was this one fanfic called, Momma Fluttershy. Cupcakes, My Little Slave, and Sweet Massacre were pretty bad, but this one was beyond disturbing.

To all the Fluttershy fans, don't read this if you love Fluttershy.

Usually, when I find terrible fanfiction, the thing that sticks out to me the most is the lack of continuity. A character could have had some big character close to them die at the end of one chapter and they could be all springtime cheerful the next. It really disrupts the flow of reading and is a huge jerk as to where the story is. Good stories need proper transition from plot element to plot element, and it seems to be one of the most common thing that is looked over.

 

I can't think of any example off the top of my head, but I thought I'd give my two bits on what I hate the most in fanfictions.

When it comes to the ones I have read; The Conversion Bureau. More specifically, the ones written by Chatoyance. I support her transition, but what I don't support is her story, making humanity seem like huge assholes, and making ponification seem good.

Fallout Equestria is just trash, and it should just die and burn in hell. It doesn't work, and it's just some stupid ass attempt for the author to get attention and capitalize on the popularity of both, when they hit a peak. Not to mention it's pretty much a carbon copy of fallout, with ponies. The names are bad, the idea is bad, and the crap the author wants to cram down everyone's throat is just stupid. What kind of sad life does someone need to have to write thousands of pages of trash like that...

 

My Little Dashie is horrid, and it's so bad even the author acknowledges it sucks.

 

Also,99% of creepypasta fics are trash too. They're pretty much "how edgy can we get" crap.

 

And don't get me started on that craptatular fic about Twilight hooking up with Peter Parker...

Gee, back when i was a noob, i used to enjoy The Conversion Bureau, of all things. Looking back, it makes me feel kinda ashamed for liking such a blatant piece of utterly misanthropic shit which outright states that humans are doomed as long as they don't accept being transformed into ponies. Thankfully, there are works which help deconstruct the whole thing and are a much more pleasant reading than the official thing

I've stumbled upon an EG/Dragon Ball Super crossover...... thing is, it wants to be a harem clop featuring Goku and Vegeta, stated by the description. It's on the first chapter, and immediately get attacked by horrible mistakes any real bad fan fic needs: OOC, forced lines, grammmher, etc. Not to mention having a minimum of G in breasts size......, and it hasn't reached the "harem" part  . Well, what can you expect from someone who thinks is an anime character tho  ?

If you wanna find out about this..... well, I think you'll have to look yourselves, I don't wanna be involved in potential cyberbullying
