Cloud managed to dodge the beak, the eagle may have been bigger but he was more nimble, he continued his barrage, continuously pounding the eye with all his might.

The eagled cawed again in furor, he tried hit him with one of his large wings now. The sound of it moving trough the air made it sound dangerous.

Cloud managed to dodge the wings, but was buffeted by the wind it created. "So you can make big winds? Well so can I!" he yelled, he began to fly fast circles around the eagle, the beginning of a tornado beginning to form.

The eagle blinked as the pony started to create a rather strong wind. He was not able to understand why he did that, but it knew that with strong wind it only had to fly higher. Which it did, and soon it was flying once again at the clouds height.

Cloud smirked "Perfect" he said as he angled his spin higher to the eagles level, now up with the clouds, his whirlwind began to pull nearrby clouds to it, lightning flashed every now and then as he did this.

The eagle wondered where the sudden storm came from. But that didn't stop him, due to his large wings he was able to fly higher into the air and would soon be over the clouds. The area where only the small clouds exists, a few were flying by like cotton candy. He would try to wait the storm out.

As long as Cloud kept his momentum, the storm would keep following, he was determined to either kill or scare off this eagle, lightning shot out of the rising clouds as it got closer to the eagles position.

As cloud rose higher in the sky the clouds would follow him at first. But then also those reached their limit and would't rise higher.

 

The eagle was flying above cloud trying to make out what was going on under him. But the storm stopped him from seeing the ground. Not that he could have spotted her anyway. She was still keeping up the illusion.

When the clouds reached their limit, Cloud shot down to the ground, the stormhe created would give enough time for them to escape. He landed and looked around "Blanc! Where you at!"

"I am right here!", a rock turned into Blanc right infront of him. "Did you kill it?", she asked in return, approaching cloud and checking if he was injured somehow, she would then nuzzle him. "Thank you."

Cloud nuzzled her back, "He's smarter than I thought, but I bought us a good chunk of time, he won't be going anywhere any time soon, but let's get a move on"

Blanc nodded, "Alright.", she looked back at the eagle, wondering if it has a hard time finding something to eat. She then quickly followed Cloud, "Do you think it tried to kill us?" Somehow, animals attacking ponies seems strange to her, but it did seem dangerously close.

In the mean time the eagle would just fly around over the clouds, using the uplift of the storm to glide efortlessly. He was waiting it out for now.

"Uhh, it dove at you with its talons stretched out and it's beak open, yes it tried to kill us" said Cloud as the took off once more. Cloud picked Blanc up and flew, keeping close to the ground and traveling quickly away.

Blanc nodded, well she tried to, but while in flight it wasn't the easiest thing to do. "Okay.", she swallowed and just held Cloud herself, hoping he was right.

They sped off until they left the plains and entered a more forested area. Cloud set Blanc down and collapsed, too tired to walk more than a few steps as he lay there.
