Going to be grabbing the new game coming out? I had the chance to play it at PAX - I honestly wasn't expecting to like it, but it was actually really good!

 

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. That game series alone has shaped my childhood in terms of gaming. I just hope I'll have enough money when I go get it.

I generally like fighting games (Mortal Kombat, Soul Caliber, MvC3) even though I'm just a button masher most of the times. I'm starting to like RPGs and First Person View Games more and more (Skyrim and Bioshock), and I've always loved the Megaman Battle Network Series on the GBA.

I like pretty much any game as long as I see good in it. Hm, your list is missing a few things that I and others might be into that I'll suggest you add: Rhythm/Music games for genre, and Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Monster Hunter, and The Legend of Zelda for game series.

I love the Zelda action/adventure.

I love SCV and Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Melee (yeah Samus and Link! EASIEST CHARACTERS FOR ME XD)

And I'm a sucker for storylines.

GoW, ME, Zelda, Halo, the Silent Hill series...

My fave games are the Zelda ones, Bioshock (only the first, not a huge fan of number two though it was great), SH, Oblivion (I MISS ADORING FAN D:), too many others. I loved Duke Nukem Forever XD

i'll just speak up about my stance of gaming here:

i used to care so MUCH about games before

it was my biggest passion i had then

but since i discovered music last year, and forming friendships on the internet, and chatting with people i love and care about

i, soon enough, started to lose interest in gaming.

 

now, my stance on games is a neutral one, or rather, a 'i don't care anymore' stance. because i REALLY don't care about games anymore, at all. it has been replaced with music, and friendships on the internet. i like this transformation of myself, and i probably never, ever will care that much about games as i used to anymore. after a whole life of playing video-games, i've ultimately grown tired of playing them, and would rather do other stuff in life that playing games anymore.

 

so, summary: i used to be a hardcore gamer, but i'm into music and friendships on the internet more now, so i've ultimately lost interest in games. and that prolly will never change.

I rather enjoyed the Fable series on the XBox. Though the next one is going to Kinect exclusive, and we don't have space for it...

 

Still addicted to Pokemon games - have been since the first hit the shelves. That and the Sims for now, basically. Lol.

Added a racing genre a while ago, and remember, some of these series do have racing games in them, such as Crash Bandicoot or Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm not placing games separately, I'm grouping them by series.

I'm mostly one for rpgs, especially those of the Tactical strategy variety for the sheer amount of customization possible (here's hoping the Pokemon/Nobunga's Ambition gets ported over here eventually).

 

Favorite Series include Pokemon, Smash Bros, Wario Land, and the pretty much any Megaman game. Especially Battle Network, though the spin-off series Starforce was still incredibly enjoyable and replayable (BN 4 and Starforce 2 not withstanding)
