Equestria.tv was riddled with bugs, and things almost always went wrong. Because of this, people have been working to make it better. However, it's been closed while it's being redeveloped. They've said it'll be back up pretty soon, and worth the wait.

 

So yes, they'll still be doing movie night. Just not while the site's being worked on.

For those of you who have attended our weekly movie nights on Fridays, stuck with us throughout season 3, or who have dropped in on occasion to watch some ponies as the notion struck you, you're probably well-aware of Equestria.tv's shortcomings. Concerns have been expressed here and in the stream chat by our members regarding its stability, feature set, and moderation. We share your frustrations. For some time now, our own developers have been working diligently on rewriting it from the ground up to address these issues and provide an overall smoother experience. Gone will be the days of random crashes for no apparent reason and the need for a refresh after every minor mishap. Increased security provisions and a more robust set of tools for the staff will also mean more peaceful and enjoyable conversation and viewing for all in attendance. Everything is being overhauled. Your feedback and perseverance have been instrumental in reshaping it, and for that we thank you. As the finishing touches are being placed upon Equestria.tv and we test it out in preparation for its grand re-opening, ETV is going dark. Bringing it offline in the interim will allow us to concentrate more fully on getting things done without the hassle of trying to keep its current form afloat. Once again, thanks for supporting Equestria.tv. We'll be back soon, bigger and better than ever before. wink.png
