Fire walked outside and winced at the sunlight.

"Gah, hangovers are the worst thing ever. It doesn't do me any good." Fire said, soon they reached the hospital and went to Missy's room, there was a doctor there examining the wing nub. "What are you doing here?"
"Ah, Fire Horn, we need to ask you something." He said.
"What? I'm tired so get on with it." Fire asked.

"Well, we're debating whether we should amputate the other wing." He said. Fire picked up a small rubber ball and threw it at him.

"Sure, I can whip up a few eggs" She said, getting some out and cracking them into a pan. She started frying them up. "So, I dont mean to be rude or anything, but where did you get 23 million bits from. Thats like, worth more than Ponyville" She asked, putting the eggs on some plates and handing one to Zeta

Steel walked out of the bar holding his bottle of whiskey and Sat down by the door drinking more -this is nice I have enough bits to drown my guilt away for the rest of my life -steel thought

"Fire Horn, calm down." The doctor said. "We believe that the other wing should be taken away to reduce stress and anxiety when awoken."

"So, waking up to having 1 wing, is worse than waking up to having none, get out of the room." Fire said.
"But...." The doctor argued.

"GET OUT!!" Fire yelled, the doctor did as requested. He sat by Missy' on the side of her missing wing. "Why did I forgive Steel?" But answered his own question. "Because you would forgive him. Wouldn't you?"

"Sure, I can whip up a few eggs" She said, getting some out and cracking them into a pan. She started frying them up. Zeta poked at the eggs for a bit, but started to eat them slowly before answering her question. "I, got the 23 million bits from my parents. They were rich, and passed the money down to me in their will. Of course they died, from a buggy accident but... You know, things happen. I don't need the money anymore, since I can make a living without it."

Within a fifteen minutes, Stephan arrived back in Ponyville. He assumed that Caramel and Zeta were inside the house, so he went there. He entered smelling eggs and seeing Caramel and Zeta sitting down for breakfast.

"I have good news, guys." He said, sitting down at the table.

Starburst woke up again. He sat there thinking about him and Caramel, they're relationship had taken hits, nopony could deny that, but she was still with him, even after the murder of 70 ponies she stood by him. Why? He intended to ask her just that.

"Caramel? May I speak with you?" Starburst asked as he walked into the kitchen where Zeta and her where.

 

Fire was holding Missy's hoof.
"I got revenge, I did it for you, I got revenge on the pony who hired Steel to kill you." Fire said.

Caramel nodded. Sure Starburst. Excuse me Stephan, I'll be right back" She said, putting her plate in the sink and walking over to Starburst. "What is it? You didnt sleep very long, are you sure your alright?" She said, looking at him carefully. "You still look pretty tired"

"What I want to know is, after everything I've done, everything I've put you through, you've stayed with me, why?" Starburst asked rather bashfully. "I love you more than I could ever love anypony else, but it's just something that confuses me is all." Starburst awaited an answer.

"Grand is out in Appleoosa. She'll be back here eventually. She just needs some time to herself is all." He said, getting a plate of eggs. "But, I can tell you one thing, Zeta; I can live happy again." He said to him. "I told her that I'm moving on and she took it well."

Caramel smiled. "Because I love you. Nothing in the world could change my mind about that" She said, kissing him. "Thats all there is to it, really. I dont know what else to tell you" She said, smiling at him. "It shouldnt confuse you. Im sure you would do the same thing"

"Grand is out in Appleoosa. She'll be back here eventually. She just needs some time to herself is all." He said, getting a plate of eggs. "But, I can tell you one thing, Zeta; I can live happy again." He said to him. "I told her that I'm moving on and she took it well."

He sighed with relief and hugged Stephan. "Oh, thank you for finding her! And i'm glad you can live again, knowing that you have that burden off your back. Now are you sure you're really over Grand? Because it may take more then one shot to do so. Zeta said smiling.

Starburst smiled and kissed her back. "Stephan, Zeta, sorry to interrupt, but......I've got soemthing to tell you, or rather we do." Starburst pointed to Caramel. "I planned to tell you all as a group when you got back from Tartarus, but things changed. You know how you'd been telling me to man up, Stephan?"

Stephan sighed at Zeta's question.

"I don't know, man. I just need some time. I'll probably spend some time with Dash and build our relationship. Or we could probably go out for a drink or something." He insisted. He then took a good look at Zeta. "Are you okay, man? You looked like you just cried a river."

Steel finished the bottle and went inside and bought three before walking firehorns house then knocked on the door while taking a long pull from his bottle of whiskey "anypony home" steel called as he knocked again

"I don't know, man. I just need some time. I'll probably spend some time with Dash and build our relationship. Or we could probably go out for a drink or something." He insisted. He then took a good look at Zeta. "Are you okay, man? You looked like you just cried a river."

"I thought Grand was dead at first, from the explosion that happened a little bit ago." Zeta said, looking away for a bit but then looked back. "I'm glad my answer was different now from you, I really do owe you one sometime. How about later we go get a drink.. Friend?"

"Well, I did, I ponied up, it was more of a spur of the moment thing, but still..........me and Caramel, are going to get married after all this is over, after the dust has settled and life returns to normal." Starburst felt nervous again. "Did I sound too braggy? I did, didn't I?" Starburst smiled when he thought of something. "Oh yeah, that little box I gave you, open it." He said to Caramel.

Caramel smiled and grabbed the small box Starburst had given her earlier. She opened it slowly to see the beautiful ring. "She giggled and kissed Starburst on the cheek. "Its beautiful Starburst, thank you so much"She said softly. "Its absolutely perfect"

Words couldn't describe how happy Stephan was for Starburst.

"I'm proud of you, nephew. Even if it was just the matter of the moment, you manned up and did it." He walked over to Starburst and hugged him gently. "Congratulations, Starburst." He said to him, letting go. He then turned to Zeta. "Sounds great, Zeta. First, I'm going to go visit Dash. See how she's doing."

"Thank you, let's make this kind of official." Starburst levitated the ring and placed it on her horn. "I'm sure that'll surprise your sister when she gets back." Starburst winked. "That reminds me, do I have to ask Grand for permission to marry you, since....." Starburst levitated a book over and began tor read.

 

Dsh woke up that morning curious, she had no idea what had happened the other night, she heard gunshots, but nothing was explained. She was about two days from a full recovery and she could leave, a lot of healing magic had been used on her.

Stephan said goodbye to the group and walked to the hospital. He was given permission to head upstairs to see Rainbow Dash. Stephan walked upstairs and entered her hospital room.

"The doctors told me that you'll be released in two days." He said. "That's great to hear, Dash! Sounds like you are making a speedy recovery."

"Yeah, good news, when I get out of here, I wanna run, I wanna fly. I just want to feel free." Dash said, making gestures with her hooves while she was speaking. "I missed you yesterday, after you left. We had the best time, just reading books and laughing about stuff. So when I get out, let's do something."

"Sure, Dash. I'm game for whatever you want to do." Stephan said happily, pecking her on the lips. "I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. Missy is in the hospital now because of a certain mare, which caused Fire to go crazy, forcing him to blow up Steel's fight club." He didn't want to tell her how many ponies Fire killed.
