"Not really, Moon's been taking care of her mostly, you guys weren't gone that long, though. It's been about 4 hours." Starburst said, remembering somepony came in earlier. "Was it you that came in earlier while I was.......preoccupied?" Glint happily continued drinking.

"You enjoying yourself there, Glint?" Usually she would squeal with joy or something, but she was silent, not even looking at him. "Oh no. I might be right after all."

Grand stopped short of the bathroom. "Oh, sure Zeta, what is it?" She said, turning to face him

Caramel smiled at Glint. "We didn't leave you here too long did we Moon?" She asked curiously
Siren made her way to sugarcube corner and sat down. From what she saw, the town was in worse condition then when she left. She ordered a coffee and drank it quietly, observing other ponies

Moon shook her head and smiled at Caramel. "No, of course not! I loved spending time with Glint here, so everything's alright."

 

Zeta smirked a bit, then replied. "Well, I was wondering more about your past life. Like maybe the good and bad things that's happened over the years before the outbreak. It's alright, you don't have to tell me all your bad things but I just want to know a few that may affect us in a way where we could learn and improve from it."

 

Sirius was shocked, but really surprised at what happened and grinned. "Wow you faced a 3 headed dog? That's crazy! But of course being Tartarus, it's a place where things like that can happen~ I wish I could of seen myself, but i'm afraid I wouldn't make it an inch before demons got me~"

Grand thought for a moment. "Well, I dont believe I told you about my parents. They were good parents, well for the first little while anyways. You see, I was supposed to be an only child. Well, eleven years later and Caramel Corn came along. My parents didnt want to take care of any more children, so as soon as I was old enough to take care of Caramel on my own they left. Never heard from them again, really" She said, recalling her parents from her memory

Stephan smiled and put a hoof on Sirius' shoulder.

"Don't worry. We wouldn't let them get you." He said warmly. He then turned to Starburst.

"Why, yes, Starburst, that was me. But, you wouldn't believe what we went through in those four hours." He began. "We had fight off lustful stallions and mares, fend ourselves from an army of demons, defeat a pack of wrath-consumed stallions, and finally, a Cerberus. We went through A LOT of junk today."

Stephan smiled and put a hoof on Sirius' shoulder.

"Don't worry. We wouldn't let them get you." He said warmly. He then turned to Starburst.

"Why, yes, Starburst, that was me. But, you wouldn't believe what we went through in those four hours." He began. Moon overheard the conversation between Stephan and Starburst. One word was striking to the mare, as she had a grin on her face. "Lustful, you said? My my, I would love to be there every day.. Oh I can just imagine it right now! All the stallions and mares, piled on me because they want my love..~"

"What's Lustful?" Siri interrupted.

 

 

Grand thought for a moment. "Well, I dont believe I told you about my parents. They were good parents, well for the first little while anyways. You see, I was supposed to be an only child. Zeta nodded slowly. "Well, that kind of stinks. But you were able to take care of Caramel, yes? How old was she when you were old enough?"

"Seems like it." Starburst was cradling Glint, she was going to sleep. "I worry for Glint though, I worry that she'll get bullied at school, I worry that she won't fit in to normal life, I just worry. Plain and simple. I guess that's what it's like when you have a sibling, you want to do all you can to keep them safe."

 

"May I contribute?" Fire asked. "Missy was abandoned by her parents too, though in a different way to yours."

"I know for certain my mother never made it out of the trotter infection, but I dont know about my father, and frankly I could care less"

(Missy is going to get drunk by the way, just so you know, and she's gonna find Siren, and she's gonna insult her hat, and call her a hooker, and she's a bitch, and an evil......bitch!)

 

Missy took the flask and drunk a small bit.
"Mmmmmm, that's good stuff, feel the burn am I right?" Missy joked.

"But if I may ask, you learned a decent bit from being with Caramel right? I mean, maybe you could become a better mother from that experience..~"

Stephan looked at Sirius.

"We'll talk about it when your older. You're a little too young for that, Sirius." He then turned back to Starburst. "I understand what you're feeling, Starburst. But, hey, you seem to be doing a decent enough job in that pursuit. But, to be frank, Starburst, none of us have lived a normal life for nearly ten years. There might be some hope that things will completely return to the way they were, but the chances of that are very slim. We just have to do everything in our power to make sure this little one lives safely and happily."

"I will do anything, just to make sure she doesn't face the horrors I had to." Starburst said. "I just want her to be happy." He looked at Glint then back to Stephan, he was now slightly teary-eyed. "...and If anypony, and I mean anypony tries to take that away from her, then Celestia help me, I will." Starburst stopped before he got too angry.

Zeta smiled anyways. "Because there's still a chance you can have the opportunity Grand, and I believe in it. It may not work a few times which may make you sad, but you have to keep doing it over and over. Eventually you'll get it honey, trust me."

He walked around for a bit in the hallway, thinking back to his past and remembered something familiar to this. "You do know my first wife had a partially abnormal uterus, right? But 11 months later she was on perfect timing to have that baby. Of course, we never did since she died and all but you know what I mean. There's just that little line that you can hit sometimes."

Grand smiled. "I'm sorry about your wife. I'm sure she meant alot to you" She said warmly. "Its really a shame what happened" She said, looking at him. "Do you mind if I just clean myself up a bit? I feel absolutly filthy, I'll be back in just a moment" She said, heading to the bathroom. 

 

Siren finished her coffee and left the shop. She went to go see the rest of the town, but mainly to see if anyone would recognize her. That would be the driving factor in which she left or if she stayed

"I don't have to do much to clear my mind, I have breathing exercises, let me show you what I can do." Missy said, slightly tipsy at that point. She found a small pond, she did her breathing exercises, in, then out, in, then out. She put her hoof onto the water's surface lightly with her eyes closed, she walked onto the water keeping a steady pace of breathing and keeping all four hooves spaced apart.

Stephan slightly hugged Starburst.

"Easy, easy, Starburst. I promise you that that'll never, and I mean never, happen." He said warmly. "You and your family are some of the most important ponies in my life and some of the best mares and stallions I've ever gotten to know. If I were to lose any of you, I don't know what I'd be able to do with myself. We'll make sure she's safe. I promise."

"Gimme s'more of that, I want it." Missy said, a while later. "It's tasty, and I'm drunk, I wanna be even more drunk!" Missy said, thinking back to that bitch of a mare they brought back from Tartarus like a stray puppy. "I nee..eed to go find somepony, I've got a bone to pick with that purple-maned, poncy pussy." Missy flew off into the sky, albeit a little unstable.

 

Starburst felt calm again.

"Thank you, it means a lot to me,and I'm sure my mum and dad feel the same way." Starburst said. "I want to say I wouldn't be alive if not for you, but we both know......"

Grand nodded. "Of course Zeta, its not a problem" She said before closing the door and getting into the shower.

 

Siren continued walking, with no recognition. She kept note of all the buildings and she observed ponies. She figured she could pull of a magic show before leaving town

"No, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be off that island." Stephan joked. "But, seriously, Starburst, I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for you. Remember back on the island when you took that spear to the chest for me? I didn't expect that. You risked your life for mine." He said, smiling. "I think we've both returned the favor in the respect of saving each other's life."

"Yeah, let's just say that I was being hunted by zebra's because I was trying to diffuse the war between the two tribes, there was an assassin tracking me that day, and I came to that camp to negotiate, but they obviously didn't want to make a deal with "the winged nightmare." Starburst joked.

Stephan laughed. "I will say, you did look very edgy and intimidating. No wonder those zebras stood no match to you." He said. He gave a small little peck to Glint on her forehead. "By the way, who was that assassin tracking you. For someone who'd been tracking you down, he's certainly been laying low."
