"Will do, Fire." Light said. Light then took to the skies and put on a pair of night vision goggles, patrolling the city from the sky.

 

"I don't know how, man. How can you get over somepony you've loved for nearly a decade?" He asked. "I really want to be with Rainbow Dash. I really do. I just don't know how I'm going to get over Grand. I don't even know how to face her now."

"You need to make a stand for yourself, Stephan." Zeta spoke boldly this time, picking him up and put him on his feet. Then he wiped away the tears and hugged him again. "You should go up to Grand, maybe tell her that you love her a lot and she'll understand. Then you need to tell yourself, that you will get over her and work your hardest ever to. Maybe you've tried to tell yourself that you will get over Grand, but that means you haven't pushed yourself to the limit. Alright? Stephan, you're a strong pony, and I know of it. You can overcome this with ease."

Caramel sighed. "Yeah, but I'm fine. At least we are all in a big group" she said, holding the baby gently. "Nothing's gonna happen to us as long as we are all here" she smiled, kissing him on the cheek

 

Grand watched as Stephan carried Zeta away and closed her eyes. She knew what had to be done

"I cannot tell you how much I love you, and that you've always supported me in terrible situations like this." Starburst said, he kissed her back. "Now, I'm very suspicious of the white pony."

 

"Grand, are you OK?" Fire asked. "Do you want to go an check on Missy? I know you didn't want to come here."

Caramel looked over to Siren, who wasn't doing anything in particular. "But she's the one who showed us where Missy was. If it wasn't for her, missy wouldn't have made it" she said quietly

 

Grand nodded. "Yes, I'm sick of this room" she said, standing up and walking back to the hospital. "Thank you Fire"

Stephan began to open his eyes and grin.

"You're right, Zeta. I'm a strong stallion. Strong enough to be the wielder of the element of loyalty." He said, standing up and facing him. "I've fought dragons, griffons, assassins, undead, and countless other threats. There's no reason why I shouldn't be able to face a mare." He said proudly. He then began walking past Zeta and back to the hospital. "I'll see you later, Zeta. I've got work to do." Upon walking, Stephan stopped dead in his tracks. "But... how am I going to tell her? I've never been put in this situation before."

"I don't know, if she was the one who claims she found my mum, then that would make her suspect number one in my books." Starburst said.

 

"Don't worry about it, I know you wouldn't do anything to intentionally harm Missy, anypony can vouch for that." Fire patted her on the back. "Go on."

Caramel sighed. "Well if that's what you think, but don't forget. Everypony is innocent until proven guilty" she said sternly

 

Grand nodded and walked out of the city hall. She ran to the hospital and quietly entered back into Missy's room. She sat down and took a deep breath, happy for the silence.

Stephan walked outside and proceeded to the hospital. Light saw him walking and flew down to him. 
"Where are yo going?" He asked.

"I'm going to go explain something to Grand." Stephan replied.

Light flew in front of Stephan. "Now? I don't think so, man. Missy almost got killed and Fire is keeping a close eye on everyone, including you and I." He said. "You should wait for all of this to blow over and then talk to her,"

Stephan sighed. "I guess you're right." Light nodded and flew back upward. Stephan then took a seat on a bench outside of the hospital.

Fire walked over to Starburst and Caramel.

"Alright, we've got to start an investigation, right now." Fire said. "Steel is acting slightly shifty, and Missy's jacket was found in his house. He is my number 1 suspect right now, I'm going after him."

"I think Siren has something to do with this." Starburst replied.

"We should check out Steel's fight club, he was seen making a deal with another pony, I'm sure we can bribe one of them." Fire said.

Stephan breathed in some of the fresh Winter air before rising to his hooves. He saw the two stallions walking by and tagged along with them. 

"Undergoing this without me? Think again, my friends." He said, strapping on his saddlebags. "Let's confront these buckers."

Grand looked at Missy. "I can't take it anymore. You aren't going to tell anyone, so I'll tell you. I'm leaving, Missy. I don't know any other way. Stephan still has feelings for me, I know it. How can I be with someone and cause so much pain to a close friend? It's too much. I don't know where I'm going, but... I had to tell someone" grand said, standing up. "I'll see you soon... Maybe" and then grand left

"Stephan? You don't mind cracking a few heads together, do you? We're on our way over to Steel's fight club, we're gonna get to the bottom of this, tonight." Fire walked off, Starburst in tow.

"When we get in there, I want you to start questioning distinct ponies, see what you can find out?" Fire nodded to Stephan. "Starburst, you're here for crowd control."

Stephan nodded at Fire's request.

"I'll try to gather what I can. Hopefully I don't get myself into a fight." In reality, all Stephan could think about was Grand, and how he was going to break it to her without coming off as a jerk or as awkward. Once this was all settled, he'd be paying Grand a visit.

"Alright, both of you know what you need to do." Fire walked up to the building but was stopped by a rather large stallion, presumably a bouncer of some kind.
"You are denied access to this building, only authorised personell may enter." He said.

"Excuse me, I'm the mayor of this town, and if you don't get out of my way, right now, there's going to be.......trouble." Fire said angrily.

The bouncer took an intimidating stance, Fire nodded at Starburst and he froze the pony in a block of ice and sent him sliding away.

"I don't have time to fool around, I'm going to find who hired Steel to kill Missy." Fire said, irritated.

Siren walked up to Caramel. "Oh, no.... They're going to think it was me! I... I went to that fight club, I talked to Steel, but, but it wasn't for Missy! I... I just needed some firm ground, I don't have anywhere to go... I thought he would help me, but he didn't. He said he had some job to do and he left. I followed him and that's how I found Missy, you have to help me!" Siren said, panicked. "You have to talk to the mayors son, I can't go back there, I don't deserve it!"

 

Caramel listened and nodded. "I... I'll help you. Everypony deserves a second chance"

Fire opened the door, he looked round the place.

"By order of myself, you are all being put under arrest, for organised violence." Fire said. A stallion walked over to him, he was a samll bit bigger than him and had a scar on his right eye.
"Oh yeah, and who's going to arrest us? You? You don't look like you could handle a 6 year old in a fight." The stallion joked, causing the whole room to burst into laughter.
"Oh, I may not look tough, but believe me, I have back-up." Fire said, Starburst stepping out behind him.

"Make one wrong move, and I promise you, it won't end well for you." Starburst said.

Steel landed and the group parted "you guys need to go" steel said to fire and starburst" this my domain so leave, and guys don't start anything they don't look like much bit they can kill" steel was annoyed that they still where on his case and was ready to fight

Stephan walked up to the large stallion. 
"In case you haven't noticed, this stallion is the mayor of Ponyville. If it wasn't for him, this club we're standing in wouldn't be here." He said, getting up in his face. "If you want to pick a fight, you'll have to pick one with me."

"I don't know if you've noticed Steel, but your "club", is not your territory, this town is mine, and I will not tolerate any illegal activities in it. Stephan, if he makes any wrong moves, restrain him, if he resists........kill him for all I care, justice comes to all eventually." Fire walked up to the large stallion. "Now, I'm not here to hurt anypony, luckily for you, I'm just here to investigate, those who co-operate, shall be set free and banished from Ponyville, those who don't will be imprisoned."
"I'd do what he says." Starburst said.

Steel smirked "fine kill me I'll just come back"steel said "and I'll never be taken nit with a fight I'll make a deal me and starburst hoof to hoof no magic of any kind that is unless your scared" steel said he wasn't In the mood for games the group just stared

Zeta was back at the town hall again, in his corner. He was wondering where Grand may have gone since she wasn't there, but maybe she went to go talk to Stephan. So he sat back down again, waiting for her to ever come back at this time. "Maybe Grand went to go look for me or something, I hope she's alright.."

"No deals will be considered Steel, you have violated the laws of Ponyville, you have betrayed the trust of my wife by murdering her, there is no redemption for you, your body may be alive but your soul was lost when you died." Fire said. "You, big guy. Tell me, who was he talking to earlier? About 9 hours ago. Or are we going to have to start something?"

 

"I ain't tellin' you nothing. I have loyalties." The stallion said.

"Alright, Starburst, break one of his legs." Fire said in a crazy, but calm voice. Starburst reached into the stallion's leg with his magic and applied incredible force to the bone, snapping it. "Feel like speaking now?"
"No." He replied, squirming in pain. Another bone broke, another, and another,

"Fine! I'll tell you!" The stallion said.
"Good, now who hired Steel to kill my wife?!?! WHO!?!?!" Fire yelled angrily.

"It was a white mare. That's all I know." He said.

"That narrows things down a lot." Fire said. Starburst scoffed.

"I knew it, it's Siren, I can feel it." Starburst said, Fire turned to Starburst.

"Go and tell Light I want her restrained and taken to the town square. Stephan, take him and find someplace to put him." Fire said, walking out of the building. "And Starburst>"
"Yes?" Starburst replied.

"Trap them all in here and blow the place." Fire said solemnly, walking away.

Stephan's ears perked up upon hearing what Fire said about blowing up the place. He then ran up to his side. 
"Blow it up? Why?" He asked. "You aren't that cruel, Fire. You don't need to blow the place up. There's really no good reason why you should blow it into the sky."

Steel sighed " so much for loyalty" steel said then stabbed the stallion in the neck "dont worry the devil loves the killers we will be back" steel called to the group he went to the second floor where he had an escape route already in place

"Stephan. If I allow this place to continue operating, who knows what could happen? People could get out of control one night, get out onto the streets and start havoc, murder could become more prominent and everypony's lives would be at risk. So I stand by my choice, the place needs to go, including those who participate in Steel's club." Fire walked away.

"Stephan. I've trapped everypony in there, but I can't kill them." Starburst said. "They're criminals, but they're ponies."

 

(I believe the devil's exact words were, "If I ever catch you here again. there will be no second chance. So if somepony killed Steel, he'd be screwed.)
