"Alright, I have a plan." Fire knocked on the door. "Memory spells are magical, and.....Twilight is our resident magic expert other than Missy." Twilight opened the door, she had clearly been crying.

"Twilight. Come here." Fire hugged her, tightly. "I have something to ask of you."

"What is it?" Twilight asked.

"I believe I may know how to catch the killer's accomplice. How familiar are you with memory spells?" Fire asked.

"Fairly. What do you need a memory spell for?" Twilight asked, now recomposed completely. Fire pulled Steel out from the side of the door. "If a unicorn steals memories from a pony, are those memories stored in the unicorn's mind?"

"Yes, actually......" Twilight gasped. "But that spell isn't allowed, it's forbidden."

"It's necessary." Fire said.

 

 

"I need to ask you, what do you plan to say to her once you get there?" Starburst asked. "Do you still hope for a relationship with her? Was Rainbow Dash just some distraction?"

"hello my name is steelheart i belive you know my brother stained steel" steel said with a semi disguised voice so twilight woudnt be able to tell who he really was hebrefused to make that mistake again as he held his hoof out to shake "I here to help catch my brothers acomplise"

Siren decided it was best to skip town before she was caught. She wouldnt get away with an alicorn in town, so she threw on her hat and cape, and with a quick teleportation spell she found herself outside the walls of Ponyville. "Now, where to go next" She said to herself before walking off towards the next town

"Of course not, Starburst. I love your aunt with all of my heart. It's just my past experiences with Grand are distracting me." Stephan sighed and looked down to Starburst. "I want to go out there and confess to Grand that I've moved on. If I do, I'll be that much happier with Rainbow Dash. I want to make your aunt happy in any way I can. I want to be with her. I just want to put the past behind me first."

"Stained Steel, as in the one that tried to murder my dau.....sort-of daughter?" Twilight asked. "Well, if you can find this accomplice, then I could probably perform a spell to find the memories." Just then, a guard appeared.

"Sir, a unicorn has been located fleeing the town." He said.

"That'll be her then. What was she wearing?" Fire asked.

"A top hat, I think, it's very dark." He answered.

"Alright, this ends tonight. Twilight follow me, Steel (short for Steel Heart, just as Steel was short for Stained Steel.), fly after her, she's not getting away from us."

 

Starburst smiled. "Well, I wish you all the luck in the world." Starburst extended his hoof for a brohoof.

Stephan didn't reach out his hoof. Instead, he pulled Starburst in a hug.

"I'm glad you understand, my boy." He said with a smile, but with a serious tone. "You're aunt means the world to me. I make her happy, I'm happy. But, I can't walk away from this. I need to fix this, or I'll never be happy again."

"please my brother was steel, I prefer to be called steelheart" steel said as he took flight and flew to the wall after a few minutes he seen the fleeing pony and dove for the pony " hey you are you one of stained steels friends" steel asked " I'm steel heart his brother" again changing his voice

"Oh drop it, I know the one who helped me escape when I see them" She said, standing up staight. "I assume your here to turn me in? I figured as much. Well, it was fun while it lasted, your friends are incredibly gullible" She said, looking at him. "Its a shame I couldnt stay any longer, I was beginning to enjoy Ponyville. Now, I'll wait here, If your friends want to come execute me, they can do it here" She said, sitting down.

Steel sighed " I wasn't going to I just want my memory back do that and I'll lead them away from you deal" steel asked "ok Im still loyal to the underground but you must hurry siren". Steel didn't bother hiding his voice since she knew it was him

"So your saying your going to release a wanted criminal, which your friends have demanded to be brought to justice, just for some measly old memory?" She said with a sharp smile. "Seems I underestimated you. here you go" She said, transferring the memories back to him. "Now, just to make it look like you didnt release me..." She said before sending a burst of magic at Steel, knocking him out. "I'll be seeing you around" She said with a smile before getting back on track

Just then Fire appeared, he pulled out a gun and shot at her, first shot missed, so did the second, but the third and fourth hit her in the leg and flank. He ran after her, along with Twilight.

"What would you rather do? Spend an eternity in hell? Or spend an eternity in hell?" Fire asked rhetorically, he pulled the gun again. Ponies like you don't deserve to live."

"Fire....." Twilight gasped.

"I swear, right now! After this! No more violence, no more killing, nothing! Ponyville will be what it was! And I will do anything, to make it that way." Fire yelled.

 

Starburst was taken off guard by the hug.
"No problem, I'll see you Uncle Stephan." Starburst said before re-entering the house and going back to Caramel's room. "Everything's fine, the situation is resolved."

"I already gave them back, theres no need. Your friend there was going to let me go, but it seems you caught up" She said, turning to face them. "Its just a shame the mayor caused more chaos than I did. Took more lives too." She walked up to him. "Why not go ahead and make it 71. I figured I wouldnt last too long here anyways. Now, before you kill me off, I suggest you do your research on me. I'm sure your purple bookworm friend over there has read all about me" She said, a hiss in her voice.

Stephan heard Fire going crazy again. He then sighed and ran beside him. 

"Are you still hungry for blood lust, Fire?" He asked. "If you're going to punish her, make her spend an eternity in jail. Or, if you're gonna kill her, make it quick so she doesn't have to suffer."

"Fire....she was.....a sadistic murderer, she killed ponies in her stage performances, for fun...." Twilight gasped.

"Which is why she shouldn't be allowed to leave....or stay." Fire put the gun to her head and pulled the trigger.

"It's done, we can move on." Fire dropped the gun and started on his way back to Ponyville.

Stephan looked over Siren's dead body. The thoughts of all the deaths he witnessed over the past decade. He was surprised he didn't go crazy like Fire. He just wanted to get away. He began to jet into the Everfree, on his way to Appleoosa. He wanted to be anywhere but there right now. Fire had been driven mad, and he actually scared him now.

Fire had gotten back to the house, Starburst heard it so he went out to check.

"Dad? Are you.....alright?" Starburst asked. Suddenly, out of nowhere he began laughing and walking over to the sofa and sitting down, continuing to laugh psychotically. "Dad? Wha......?" Starburst was horrified.

Caramel looked at Fire and grabbed Starburst. "What... what's wrong with him?" She asked, staying close to him. "Ive never heard him laugh like that... Ive never heard anyone laugh like that" She said, just above a whisper. "maybe we should find somewhere else to sleep"

Light walked into the house to get a cup of tea. As he walked in, he heard Fire letting out a long laugh. A laugh that was a little frightening, actually.
"Ummm, Fire, are you okay?" Light asked as he poured his tea. "You sound like you just saw something life-changing." 

((OOC: Mind if we do a small timeskip soon? Like, to the next morning?))

Fire looked at Light and continued laughing, but soon, the laugh slowly turned from laughing to crying. He curled up on the sofa and near enough cried himself to sleep.

"He's snapped. I think I should stay with him a little while. You should go to bed, I'll be there soon." Starburst said with a smile.

Twilight noticed the other pony, Steel Heart had been left there, she was about to pick him up and take him back when she noticed something, some of the dye had come out of his coat because of the moist ground. She recognised the color.
"Stained Steel. I have half a mind to tear you apart." Twilight said forcefully.

Steel woke up in time to hear twilight "hey hear me out first ok firehorn did and he had already tried to kill me" steel said "I i didn't know it was Missy and and when I found out it was it was to late I thought she was dead I wouldn't hurt Ernie any of my friends for money or any ohter reason"

"Oh, and that makes things okay does it?" Twilight asked rhetorically, but calmed down. "Come with me back to Ponyville, I'm sure Fire doesn't want you dead, and do you remember? Was it her you made the deal with?" Twilight pointed to Siren's body, still laying there.

"yes it was she said to think of it as a test and he already knows that I'm not dead and no it doesn't she has no wing now and I have to live knowing it was me that caused that" steel said he was obviously feeling very gulily he pulled out his bottle and drank some more hopeing to numb the mental pain

Light nodded to Starburst.

"You try to keep your dad in line. He doesn't look too good." He said, as he flew back to his and Stephan's place and went into his bed.

 

-The Next Morning-

It took him all night, but Stephan finally reached Appleoosa. The first thing he thought he should do was ask around town for Grand's whereabouts. He went into the saloon and sat down.

"A couple shots of cherry whiskey, please." He said to the bartender. "Also, I have a few questions. Have you seen a red unicorn passing through here?"

Fire woke up the next morning with a blanket over him and some water on a table.

"Wha.....?" Fire said.

 

Starburst hadn't gotten any sleep that night, he had just been listening for his father, trying to take care of him.

He sat tiredly against the door, half-asleep.

Steel had stayed on a cloud above the bar in ponyvile and as soon as it opened he went in and went to to restroom and fixed his dye then ordered a bottle of burben and began drinking he had a large amount of bits in an account there so he wasnt worried about runnin out of bits
