   Now there are a lot of animated characters I dislike, such as Dora the Explorer, who is a an animated cliché and stereotype, or Sofia the First, who is bereft of personality and conflict, but the character I truly hate is Caillou, French for "Pebble" a metaphor for the talent and effort this show produces, unlike Dora or Sofia who have redeeming value, Caillou does not, he is a pretentious, lewd, whinny brat, his sister Rosie is a close analogue to Caillou as well, his parents are insipid, spineless flower children, that do not discipline him when it calls for authority to correct prudent behaviour, but the worse thing about Caillou is he is quite influential for young preschoolers, to behave almost like him, a poor example for a role model, so I say stay away from this spoiled brat, instead put on MLP-FiM, which is full of effort, talent and have an inordinate amount of respect for people's intelligence, something Caillou will never amount to.

Clyde (Loud House) His crush on Lori is cringe.

Bubba (Ducktales) useless cave kid character.

Oggtar (Super Mario World cartoon) another useless cave kid character.

Speedy Gonzales (Looney Tunes) annoying stereotype.

Sparky (Fairly Odd Parents) Scappy Doo with magic and no brain.

Mable (Gravity Falls) I use to like her, but her selfish attitude and boy craze got really irritating.

Chip and Dale (Disney Classic Cartoons) Unfunny pests that frequently ruin Donald Duck's life.

Diamond Tiara (MLP:FiM) Boring one dimensional bully.

Daffy Duck (The Looney Tunes Show) Took the Chuck Jones version of the character, removed all likability, and made him a Peter Griffin clone.

Bubbles (Powerpuff Girls 2016) Turned a lovable kid superhero into a meme obsessed bad tempered brat.

Zephyr Breeze (MLP:FiM) The animated version of Jesse Rigway from the Pyscho Dad series.

 That's so many characters    Why do you hate Haruhi Suzumiya, Edward and Excel? I do understand with Excel, because she is always too too hyper and crazy. And Haruhi Suzumiya treats Mikuru horrible. 

Can't stand Haruhi Suzumiya, she so bossy and treat unfairly to Kyon. Edward? I find him/her weird for me, i just find this character weird and annoying, And Excel, hate the way she treated Menchi, that anime upset me and hate that girl.

I admire The Amazing World of Gumball, but I wish Richard would just feck off, along with every other Bumbling Dad and 90s-2000s dysfunctional family still around. It's ironic how such a self-aware show could unironically use a trope that a lot of people no longer find funny and was absolutely done to death and back again in the 2000s by cartoons, sitcoms, and commercials. The show's surrealist humor and crazy setups really do nothing to shake the rust off of this one. I enjoy watching this show a lot, but every time Richard is involved, I absolutely cringe.

 

On MLP, Snips and Snails were the only characters I disliked, for being the stupid boy stereotypes especially when they were the most prominent male characters on the show. Thankfully, they toned them down quite a bit and gave Snails a moment in "Buckball Season".

 

Then there's every character in Allen Gregory: a gaggle of pretentious, snobby douchebags. It's already largely considered one of the worst cartoons ever, and a particularly disturbing sexual fantasy by the main character got me to turn it off 15 minutes into the first episode.

In MLP-

Diamond Tiara- Just a complete jerk with a lack of character development.

Snips- Sexist stereotypes 101 with Hasbro. SNIPS. At least Snails was done some justice...

Flash Sentry- Hasbro, why would you introduce a character literally only there to ship with Twilly?

Zesty Gourmand- I couldn't describe her without using any swear words. It's impossible.

Prince Blueblood- He is a total snob and stuck-up wackjob.

Scootaloo- In my opinion, she's actually kind of a jerk, and has very little character development.

 

Others-

New Patrick- Complete jerk. (SpongeBob)

New SpongeBob- Complete moron. (SpongeBob)

Mr. Krabs- He's a good representation of the corporate elite, though. (SpongeBob)

Panini- She was really annoying to me, and I absolutely couldn't stand her antics. (Chowder)

Vicky- I know she was made to be hated, but still. She's such a meanie. (Fairly Oddparents)

Angelica Pickles- She's exactly the same as Vicky in My book, if not even worse... (Rugrats)

Gideon Gleeful- A little annoying jerk that was probably made to be hated. (Gravity Falls)

Brittney Wong- Yet another DIAMOND TIARA. Why are these kinds of characters SO COMMON? (Star VS the Forces of Evil)

Dora the Explorer- I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN WITH HER. SHE IS SO ANNOYING! (Dora the Explorer)

Bendy- Explanation is completely unnecessary here. He was a Scrappy. Nobody ever liked him. (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)

Uncle Grandpa- We all know what I have to say here. (Uncle Grandpa)

Johnny Test- Absolutely egotistical brat of a child, of course I can't stand him at all. (Johnny Test)

Nom Nom from We Bare Bears has definitely earned my dislike. Not exactly hate because he's just an animated character, but dislike. But that's probably what the show writers wanted me to feel towards him!

There are so many that I can list. For now, I'm gonna say all Amazing World of Gumball characters, especially Darwin.

There's a lot of characters I dislike, but I wouldn't say I hate more than maybe 5 or so. Top of this list though is Auron from Final Fantasy 10. I can say one good thing for him. He makes for great stress relief. Nothing quite makes you feel better after failing the ultimate weapon tests 100 times in a row as much as buying 99 phoenix downs, putting Auron in your party, and getting in a battle to have your other characters kill him and revive him to kill him again over and over.

Im with you on this more than people will accept. I've seen this character before...multiple times and it wasnt all that funny the first time. I know why people like him and all but he really is just a one note character to me. Nothing more developed than refried beans to me.

 

Another that gets me that I know I will get flack for is Steven from Steven Universe. For the first season he was the bumbling super hero side kick to the show and I was tearing my hair out every time he showed up. I get his purpose and the writers intent for his character but to this day I still feel I would have liked this show SO much more if he wasnt there. If Steven Universe was an action show about a team of alien gems who fight monsters while trying to learn human society...yeah I could get around that just fine without Steven.

 

From MLP...eh...I really dont like Trixie. I dont hate her but her repeated appearances and failures to show up Twilight just made me bored of her. Even her narcissistic personality thats supposed to be funny really fell flat to me as it didnt even make sense. She lied about acts of bravery she could do...but was still in love with herself. She knew she wasnt as great as she says she is considering her life but she still believes she's best pony. Its hard for me to tell if she's trying to convince those around her, the audience or herself.

 

Hank Hill from King of the Hill. A traditional, closed minded stick in the mud who couldn't show an emotion if he was a paid actor. Even my dad said this guy has no sense of humor...and he doesnt even watch cartoons so thats his first and only impression.

For an MLP character, I would say Vinyl Scratch. Is there any other reason people like her besides being the mascot of brony electronic music? I don't think so.

I also think a lot of people show Vinyl Scratch in like merch and stuff because she just looks the coolest to them. It's a bad reason, and I know I shouldn't be the one complaining about this because I'm also pretty sure a lot of Fluttershy fans like her because she's cute (that includes me). But at least Fluttershy has character in her. We know her strengths and weaknesses and we like her because of that as well. Vinyl is literally nothing other than a character that plays electronic dance music. If you like Vinyl, then that's alright. I'm not saying you shouldn't, I just don't understand why people like her.
