I hate pretty much every character on Death Note with an undying passion, but more specifically the two main characters Kira and L. They both are these super smart, super amazing, 'can't do anything wrong' godlike beings that constantly outwit each other at super human levels while also being perfect in nearly every other way. The only sign of the contrary is L's sorta quirky personality, but he is perfect everywhere else so I don't see the point. Gah that show sucks.

In terms of FiM, pretty simple, Discord. Now, I don't 'hate' him, but his presence nowadays is becoming more of a hindrance on the episode rather than a good addition. Any episode with him in it focus far too much on him being random and wacky than actually focusing on the episode itself and in some cases like in Dungeons & Discord, it completely ruins the episode outright. The only time where this did not happen was in the season 6 finale. Make it to where he cannot use magic and all of a sudden he becomes far more tolerable, because he isn't just being random and crazy for the hell of it.

I have PLENTY of hatred to go around!!!!!!

But some very notable people who come to mind are:

Patrick Star from SpongeBob.

Mike from Total Drama.

Lumpy from Happy Tree Friends.

Snips and Snails from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Peter AND Brian Griffin from Family Guy.

Every single member of the executive board of Nickelodeon.

What? We get a Frieza character that's Actually a Good guy?! Cool! I'd love to see how that plays out, SURELY they won't FUCK IT UP by revealing he's just another COOKIE CUTTER VILLAIN  from that race and squander ALL THAT POTENTIAL THAT THE CHARACTER HAD...right?

Snips and Snails from MLP: FiM. Same with Flim and Flam, whom I really only enjoyed in their latest appearance.

Peter Griffin in the majority of Family Guy episodes from the last 10 years or so. Lois has always been bland, so I can't stand her either. And I I've never found Quagmire all that funny.

Mrs. Krabappel and Nelson from The Simpsons.

Kevin from Ed, Edd N Eddy.

Kai from The Legend of Korra. He had potential but he became just another love interest. Mako+Korra, Zhu Li+Varrick, and Asami+Korra were enough for me.

Bubbles in the reboot of The Powerpuff Girls. She's become a little too... is "modernized" the right word?

Sparky the dog and Chloe from The Fairly OddParents. I could go on a long rant about those two, but I won't do it here. ;)

^Pretty much the exact reason I LOVE them so much (particularly Light Yagami). It's rare that you see a show with where the MC is actually insanely competent and "ahead" of the viewer in almost every way. Usually MC's are borderline retarded, rash, or just plain not deserving of the viewers' collective respect.

Now, for me personally, there are so many damn characters I don't think I can list em all out :o I'll come back to edit this list many times in the future~

Timmy Turner - Fairly OddParents

Spongebob + Patrick - Spongebob Squarepants

Season 2-6 Pinkie Pie - MLP:FiM

Johnny Test - Johnny Test

Coconut Fred - Coconut Fred

Peter Griffen, Lois Griffen, Brian Griffen - (modern day) Family Guy

Every Character - Total Drama Island

Gunther & Uta, + Venus - Ruby Gloom

Now for the animu section =^-^=

Ash/Satoshi - Pokemon Anime

Hitagi Senjougahara - Bakemonogatari

Kurisu Makise - Steins:Gate

Takano Miyo - Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni/ Kai (SPOILER her back story was cool, but I didn't like her reveal as the main villain. Thought they were setting up something WAY more mind-blowing instead of a cliche villain like the freakin nurse -.-)

Mimi - Digimon Adventure

Miyako (Yolei) - Digimon Adventure 2

Misa Amane - Death Note (I dont really HATE her but she is objectively the worst character from the show, which is not saying much considering how AMAZING the rest of the characters are)

Every Character - Tantai Opera Millky Holmes (this anime was pure torture)

Matsuri - Ichigo Mashimaro

Kuro Kagami - Kodomo no Jikan

Over half of the stupid ass villain designs - One Piece

Every character except for Hinata, Kakashi, Rock Lee, and Gaara - Nauto

Forgetting alot, but that'll have to do for now. Seems like I can't think of many male characters from anime that I hate >.>

After the last two seasons of Korra, I no longer hate Mako, and I have to admit that I was a bit too harsh in this topic, I do have to mention Ronaldo from Steven Universe as I character that I really do not like.

He comes across as an obnoxious pretentious jerk, who is a danger to himself and the people around him, and he really should seek some form of psychiatric help.

Plus he generally has the worst episodes of the show, and never really develops as a character.

Ugh!!! I cant stand Spongebob Squarepants :scots: he was funny back when I was in like, year 4 - 5 (think 2006-2007). Now I find him incredibly annoying  ...

I mean, seriously. The show was funny 10 years ago. It isnt now...

...and as for anime, they really need to get rid of Team Rocket and Ash. I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING THEM AROUND!!!...

Honestly, why can they make Pokemon Origins or Pokemon Genrations the official Pokemon Anime. I mean, that'll get ninendo most of its fans back ...

Well, I got a DBS character that I've started to hate over time. Not, it's not the chubby Sailor Moon parody, it's actually Zeno-sama. At least in the current arc, they mostly do pointless scenes of one exclaiming that some shit is amazing the other one repeats, and so on and on, with an irritating voice on top of that  . I CAME HERE WATCHING BEATINGS, NOT ALL MIGHTY BABIES DOING AND SAYING THE SAME  THING OVER AND OVER  . HELL, and you complained about McFlurry in her debut episode :dash:

Yeah, looking back from my old list in the first page, Mako is one I disagree with, Season 3-4 really did a great job with him and I ended up liking him a lot more afterwards.

I'm surprised I didn't have Angelica Pickles in my list though, just about every time she was on screen I really wanted to strangle her, especially upon rewatch she got even more unpleasant

Might have posted on here already, but too lazy to check. Besides, I've watched several different series since April (at the latest)... They aren't in any specific order, aside from the order I thought of them in.

From MLP:

Snips- Is his only purpose in existence to annoy us? Seems to me it is.

Diamond Tiara- Even after watching Crusaders of the Lost Mark... I still hate her.

Scootaloo- I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I find Scootaloo bratty, selfish, and sometimes, even downright obnoxious.

From elsewhere:

Nom Nom (We Bare Bears)- I hate Lampwick a good bit, sure, but he's even worse than Lampwick I think, on top of being annoying.

The Chritchellites (Samurai Jack)- They are selfish, obnoxious, irritating, bratty, stuck-up, greedy, annoying... EVERYTHING!

Angelica Pickles (Rugrats)- She's talked about so much, I don't think I even need anything here.

Patrick (SpongeBob)- He's ALWAYS BEEN a complete jerk, but after the movie... He's a freaking MONSTER.

Mr. Krabs (SpongeBob)- Literally the most selfish, greedy unlikeable creature in the series, possibly even worse than Patrick.

Dora the Explorer (You KNOW)- Nothing I should need to say here.

Johnny Test (...)- He's like a tamer, but more childish version of Post-Movie Patrick, with a little extra obnoxiousness.

Lemongrab (Adventure Time)- Should be obvious enough.

Trolls (Frozen)- Obnoxious, irritating, and had the worst song in the entire movie, easily. Well, they're the actual villains of the movie, so okay.

I personally resent Zen'o (both of them) for erasing most of the newly introduced multiverse -- thus wasting so many interesting new characters, worldbuilding, etc.

Likewise, Zamasu is an absolute Aizen who overrides the much-more-interesting Goku Black, ruins everything Future Trunks accomplished back in the Androids/Cell Saga, and is "defeated" in such an unsatisfying way (which ties into the aforementioned resentment toward Zen'o).

To be fair, it's pretty much guaranteed that they are all going to be wished back. However that also means the stakes of this arc are entirely moot and pointless. Which is par for the course with Dragon Ball let's be real here.

Oh, and there is one MORE character I want to add to my previous list since I started watching The Amazing World of Gumball.

hqdefault.jpg

And that is SUSSIE. That monstrosity needs to IMMEDIATELY die in a fire. The show itself is amazing and hilarious, but every time this freak is on screen it makes me gag. Fuck that thing.

Who I absolutely HATE?  Well... that's a STRONG sentiment.

I mean, there are characters that I tolerate, characters that I disagree with, and characters that just aren't any good; but HATE?

Well - there IS a character that, no matter how they're portrayed, I can NEVER seem to find any possible like or even grudging acceptance for...

D-bag_Blueblood.thumb.png.efa29854269ee5a832c4305784325af6.png

... it would be THIS sack of horse manure.  No sympathy at all for him - not even in fanfics that try to make him "sympathetic"; drop the 'sym' part, and that's how I feel.

Another one for me is this guy from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends:

Bendy.png

In the words of Linkara, "This is the worst kind of villain, folks -- he has no motivation, no credible backstory, no emotional connection that makes us sympathize or understand why he does the things that he does; he's just some @$$hole {...} because he's the villain!"

He's also a Hate Sink with no catharsis at the end, therefore just causing Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy for his episode.

In fact, he's so bad, Lauren Faust herself actually apologized for his existence!

Last time I posted Toddler Lambo from Katekyo Hitman REBORN! and I'm not rescinding that. However, over the years I have found new characters to hate. lol

Babadi from Dragon Ball Z and Kira's father from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Why do I group these two characters together? Because they both fit into the exact same archetype and I hate them both for that reason. They're both side-villains who stay off to the side and commentate on the actions that the main villain is dealing with. They're both extremely annoying because the main villain suffers the slightest bit of damage and they scream "Oh no!!!" for false drama. I think Kira's father is the most annoying, though. He floats around in a picture and loudly commentates on events within clear earshot of the heroes, yet the heroes still don't notice him there.

Bakugo from My Hero Academia. You thought Sasuke was angsty? Meet Bakugo, the character is pure angst. There is absolutely nothing else to him. There is nothing to like in this character.

Meliodas from Seven Deadly Sins. I think I just hate this character because I hate what the author finds funny, but in the end it reflects upon the character himself. He constantly gropes the female lead without her consent. I understand this is an anime thing to some extent (typically, it is an accident, which is a humor that a lot of people don't appreciate either), but in this series it isn't even an accident, it's just something that Meliodas constantly unapologetically does all of the time and it is sick. It's supposed to be humorous, we're just supposed to laugh it off. I don't. Trashy creep "humor" in a series that is mediocre anyway.

On that note I really don't like the creep character from My Hero Academia either. I forget his name. MHA at least acknowledges he is a creep and the characters both male and female retaliate against him, but still bad humor. And I read somewhere that this character is a reflection of the manga author which just makes it more creepy.

Dartz from Yu-Gi-Oh! is another annoying Aizen-type.

To sum him up, his entry under Invincible Villain:

Quote

He's a 10,000-year-old expert shapeshifter and magician who knew the secrets of the Pharaoh before anyone else, and over the millennia, has become the single wealthiest man in the world, rich enough to effortlessly buy out even KaibaCorp. Then there's his deck, which features such winners as a monster that, whenever it's destroyed, revives even stronger, and another one that absorbs any Life Point damage he would have taken and is nigh-indestructible besides. If you can somehow get rid of that, he can summon another monster whose attack value is equal to all the Life Point damage he would've taken had the first one not been there (over 20,000 in the final duel with him), and if you can get rid of that, it turns into a monster that instantly wins the game if it attacks for damage; that's in addition to the ever-present Seal of Orichalcos (which he has two more levels to). Using this deck, he keeps the heroes occupied for an unheard-of six straight episodes (the longest duel in any Yu-Gi-Oh! series), and it takes a Heroic Sacrifice from Kaiba and some serious liberal application of the rules on Yugi's part to defeat. After going through all that, you'd think the Evil Plan would be good and foiled, right? Think again. Dartz reveals the he alone is equal to the tens of thousands of souls he intended to sacrifice to his Eldritch Abomination master, so he goes ahead and summons it anyway. It takes the God Cards in their purest forms and an Ass Pull from Yami in order to even weaken him and his master.

Likewise, part of his entry under The Scrappy:

Quote

His Mooks are generally considered more interesting than he is, and his revelation that he was responsible for the deaths of Amelda and Raphael's loved ones (just to make Raphael angry) didn't help his cause.

And at the end, he's suddenly redeemed ("The Orichalcos made me do it!") right before passing on to the afterlife.

Just...
