OOC Thread

Ditzy Doo cantered up to Gizmo and Strong and glanced at the weapons, smiling. She turned and waved a hoof towards the store as if to say 'Come on in!' She opened the door and ran in, dodging shelves of almost any item one could need on the wasteland minus ammo. She stopped behind a counter and started digging into a toolbox.

(Sorry.)

Autumn walked in after Strong Hooves. He started browsing the shelves. She had a wide variety of goods. When they say Absolutely Everything, they mean Absolutely Everything. Is that a showerhead?

Aria followed the others in, not wanting to be the only stable dweller outside alone. Still, she kept her distance from Ditzy wondering how such a thing could happen to a pony. What if it was contagious.

Ditzy came up with a small collection of tools and then started digging through the weapons, inspecting each one in turn and taking pieces off to get a better look at the mechanisms inside and then reassembling them. She put down the chalkboard and started keeping inventory of all the items and their conditions.

Strong looked around the shop, seeing various items along all of the shelves, What is... Radaway?, he thought to himself, looking at the bottles of liquid along the shelves. He looked back at Ditzy, still curious as to how this poor pegasus had gotten into the condition she was in...

*To live with you!* was what her heart shouted, but she her mind had already given up on that goal and chose something else to dedicate her life to. "To do whatever I can to make it better."

Ditzy finished taking an inventory of the items and grabbed a second chalkboard and walked up to Strong and wrote 'Trade or bottle caps?'

Ditzy looked at Strong with shock and erased what was one her board. 'Yes, of course! It's the only money worth anything in the wasteland. You just out of the stable?' she wrote.

"I didn't realize I was the one who decided these things. Sure, that'll work. There has to be some things in here that are worth trading for."

Upon hearing Aria reply to hearing both questions, Gizmo nods and stands beside Aria. "And I'll be by your side regardless of what that is." He looks over at Ditzy. "So what can we get for half of those weapons?"

Strong nodded at Ditzy's question, "Just got out earlier today" he told her. He then began to separate the weapons into two even piles, "One of these will be for trade, the other will be for selling, what medical and food supplies do you happen to have here?"

(You have a knack for being ninjaed good sir, not Linguz for ninjaing).

*As a friend,* she thought. "Thanks," Aria whispered to Gizmo.

Ditzy erased the board once more and wrote 'Look around and bring stuff you want over here. I'd rather not list everything. Over there is food.' She pointed over to a long shelf of pre-war food, the shelf bellow it containing healing potions, bandages, syringes and other items that may be needed for medical use.

(Basically, everything is in Absolutely Everything within reason. You won't find a anti-material rifle here or a balefire bomb - be reasonable. Low level stuff, ammo isn't left out in open and is sold behind the counter).

Gizmo nodded and walked over to the shelves. He takes a few of the healing potions, bandages, and a few other medical items that they might need. He brings it over to the counter. "How many guns for these?" As he waits for the response, he looks around the room for anything else.

Rather than write more, Ditzy separated some guns from the pile, indicating those would be fair trade for the supplies.

(Too damn lazy to make any sort of detailed economy here. It's stuff within reason people, so I won't give you infinite healing potions or just a stupid amount of them for this load of guns. If you've played fallout, this is a couple hundred caps worth.)

Strong looked among all the shelves, taking food supplies and a small weapon repair kit, that could come in handy, he thought. He then came across a barding sewing kit and then looked at his father's barding which was already torn in various areas, he grabbed that as well and took them to Ditzy to see how much she would take for them.

Autumn found a few books, but only a couple that seemed useful (most of the others were either escapist romance novels, or books he already had.) He asked, "Could you add these to the tab? Also, what is this Wasteland Survival Guide? It sounds useful."

Lunar walked over to where the medical supplies were, and slipped a couple of healing potions into his saddlebag. He did not know if he had enough guns or money for the potions, and he'd rather not ask the zombie pony. Stealing would be much easier. He cast the invisibility spell on himself once more and attempted to sneak out of the shop...

(sorry about going AWOL. Between work, not liking the new RP system, and various other things, I forgot about this :( )

Sigh busied himself looking for various drugs, trying to fill the holes in his inventory. He looked up at Ditzy.

"Hey, do you have any battle stimulants? Enhancers? That sort of thing?"

Lunar escapes detection and leaves with the stolen supplies without getting caught.

Ditzy took the books and set them on the counter with the medical supplies and started pulling out weapons from the original pile to add to the new one accordingly. After doing that quickly, she stuck her head under the counter and came up with the Wasteland Survival Guide and placed it on the counter, pushing it forward. Free of charge, she wrote. Looking over at Sigh, she erased the last sentence and wrote Yes, but I keep them behind the counter. You know how far addicts will go to get some of the stuff.

Aria wandered the aisles looking at the odd part of the store. Seemingly random items were kept on the shelves, from empty cans to a stick coated with green goo.

"Thank you Miss Doo." Autumn said, bowing his head in thanks. He picked up his books with magic and began flipping through them. As he walked out the door, he noticed the cover of the Survival Guide, by Ditzy Doo. It couldn't be, could it? That would explain why she gave it to me for free.

Strong Hooves nodded and took the rest of the caps that Ditzy had given the group, then proceeded to follow Gizmo out of the shop. When he caught up, he sat down and said, "So does Aria even have any idea as to what to do now that we're out here? Perhaps you have some plans for yourself?"
