Appearance: Obsidian black coat which is lined with fiery gold patterns, red eyes (which glow brightly when angered or in combat), jagged horn (think of a broken piece of obsidian. Very sharp on top, but lined with uneven ridges on the 'blade' of the horn)

Abilities: Ability to generate and control flame, heat, and magma. Skilled in Illusion type magic, Alteration magic as well. Also possesses knowledge of Dragon Shouts (yes, his backstory and stuff were inspired by the Dragon Cult from Skyrim).

 

Other: Due to his association with fire/heat, Kreinbahthur can be weakened by hydromancy (water magic) and some forms of cryomancy (ice magic). Large amounts of natural water and severe natural cold also have the power to impare him.

Personality: Kreinbahthur can be quite solemn, and often appears to be deep in thought as if remembering various, rather dark memories. This grimness however, does not really keep him from being the occasional prankster and wisecracker, and if anything, takes to a more jubilant personality at times. However, enrage him and you can be sure to find yourself trapped in a raging inferno, or maybe shouted to pieces by the Dragon Speech. Despite his harshness, it takes a while to actually get him to the killing mode point.

Krein has a darker side associated with his past. This side is cruel and uncaring, with a lust for power which can drive him to kill even the closest of friends. It is more militaristic.

 

Background: Once part of a group of warlords called the, "Imperators", a band of other gifted ponies trained by dragons to tap into their sense for power and master their respective elements. He would often lead this group on missions to subjugate nearby cities and claim them for his 'state'. He began to question his loyalty to both his state and guild when he was convicted by a mysterious voice on his actions. Eventually, he secretly defected along with anoher dragon elder (who went into slumber) and travelled far away to another area. During his travels, he was ambushed by his original guild and their new leader. He managed to fend them off, but was severely injured in the process where he then plummeted towards the Evergreen forest. After being found by the Mane 6 and befriending most of them (Fluttershy fears him because she is afraid he'll set off a fire, Rainbow Dash sometimes teases him at his inability to fly very fast), he decided it was time to start over and use his abilites for better causes. He still has the desire for power however, and battles with his 'original self'.

Other: 1)Cutie mark is symbolic to both his element of fire and desire for power (fire consumes and grows larger as it does).
