And yeah, I've known a few people in the past who haven't been allowed to watch Harry Potter because of witchcraft.

And not allowed to play Pokémon because it has the word "evolution" in it. Which is stupid. Partly because evolution was thought up by a Christian.

And partly because it's really more like metamorphosis, but it's called evolution because NO KID would play a game with the phrase "Your Charmander metamorphosised into Charmeleon!"

Honestly I don't know why Christians get so worked up over the word Evolution.

Yeah, and by that logic they aren't allowed to believe in butterflies.

 

And the evolution seen in Pokemon is totally inaccurate to scientific evolution, so you'd think they would mind kids get the information wrong.

 

And I think it's because it tends to contradict what's in the Bible.

The Pokemon controversy is stupid! Who cares if the word Evolution comes up? It's not going to kill your child.

 

Funny thing is I'm a Christian. I find it terrible how other Christians always attack other denominations.
